Logitech C270 HD Webcam

To sum this little beauty of a camera up in one word, I would have to say "WOW". I deliberated for ages over which camera to buy in the middle price range, and almost ended up with a nicer looking creative labs one that was slightly more expensive in my shopping basket. However, I made myself be patient and trawl through the reviews before going against my magpie instincts for nice shiny looking things. I am so glad that I did. The reviews on this camera were what convinced me to buy it, and although this little thing isn't much to look at, it is an absolutely fantastic piece of kit for the price. Super fast delivery, plugged it in as soon as I got home, no problems installing or setting it up, and the crystal clear image that came out had my jaw dropping. The built in mic is great, I was talking really quietly and it recorded me very loud and clear. It worked with Skype straight away and I managed to have a brilliant Skype video chat with my mum in South Africa, who also commented on the clarity and brilliance of the video straight away. I've only ever owned a really cheap £5 Logitech camera before which was ages old, and I wasn't really looking forward to buying another Logitech as I'd been so disappointed by the first one (but then for £5 - £10 what can you expect?). But the reviews on this one were consistent and very positive, and I decided so many people couldn't be wrong. I am so happy that I bothered to read them and then choose this camera despite liking the look of the creative labs one more. I feel like I've got the bargain of the century! If you're looking for a great little camera with amazing quality for the price, then I don't think this one will disappoint. In fact, I'd even go so far as to say that unless you were doing some serious recording with a webcam, you wouldn't need anything fancier as this one feels incredibly fancy for the price.

Image quality is quite superior in comparison to some other makes in the price range. Movement is almost 100% in sinc. The sound is clear and sufficiently loud. It has auto focus, a must-have, I reckon! (A word of advice: - See that it is attached with a lump of blu-tac as it's prone to falling off the computer fairly easily). Unfortunately, the avatars and face accessories appear to present installation problems on one's computer. They either won't instal at all or if they do, won't work. The problem or at least part of it, appears to be the file type. Some computers and editing tools don't recognise it although having said that, I did manage to get just 3 avatars and 2 face accessories to work on my Vista OS desktop and I still can't figure out how these function OK yet all my other choices won't even instal. I'm still struggling to get them working on my Vista OS laptop and Win 7 OS netbook, though. Nonetheless, I still recommend this webcam. Amazon offers the cheapest price that I've come across after doing a fair amount of surfing.

This is now the fourth of this model that I've bought! I think that they're absolutely brilliant webcams. I've bought two for our grown-up children, one for our grandson and one for my wife. I use the Logitech Webcam 9000 Pro, but the C270 HD is nearly as good at half the price. It installs without a problem on XP Pro 32 bit or Windows 7 64 bit and works faultlessly straight from the box, without any messing about setting different options. The build quality is good, the price is good and it works on just about anything, all you need is a spare USB port! I would recommend this to anyone from novice to expert and I don't think anyone would be disappointed with the results. The sound is clear, the picture quality is excellent and all our family can keep in touch via Skype without having to spend a fortune on webcams.

This has been my first impression: "OMG, WTF?! How is this £17?! I feel like I've spent heaps on it!" and variations thereof. I'm utterly blown away. I just showed my father a couple of recordings I made, and he was also blown away. I showed my brother, and he was pretty blown away, and it's pretty tough to impress him. xD How the hell is a 60fps, widescreen, 720p camera, with an outstanding, noiseless microphone £17? I'm not complaining, at all, I'm just utterly baffled! I'm so, so grateful that I've been able to buy this at £17, as, honestly, had I known how good it is, I'd have probably spent something like £30 on it. I actually initially ordered a Microsoft LifeCam, which was £33 at the time (now £36 or £38, I believe) but I cancelled it, as I found out something things about it that hugely put me off. I'm so glad I chose to be a sheep and buy what everyone says you should buy: a Logitech webcam! I'll be sure to update this review, should I come across anything bad about it, but as of now, after some testing, it's absolutely amazing. Do note, however, that when I used RightLight (at 720p) the fps went down to what I suspect is 30fps, but without, it shot right up to 60fps, which in itself, is lovely to see on a webcam. I get no flicker at all from my monitor's light, courtesy of the 60Hz setting, not that it's a particularly new thing, but I still think it's pretty neat. :P The build quality seems sound. I find it to be quite heavy, and sturdy. I've never seen nor held a webcam that felt so much like "quality". I really hope that my amazement will not be thwarted by some random break or fault. I'll try to hold back my pessimism. I strongly recommend buying this webcam! Even if it breaks after a year or two, I'd gladly (OK, maybe not gladly, but I still would) buy another one, for this sort of quality. I might upload a video as a demonstration, when I get the chance, because this, you have to see. However, you can just YouTube it, as I did, to see just how amazing it is. It's also pretty awesome to record my acoustic guitar, even with classical stuff; I usually need to turn off the anti-noise feature, though, but even without it, I usually hear no noise!

Es una webcam que cumple perfectamente su cometido, buena calidad de imagen (siempre y cuando tu ancho de banda lo permita), incluso en condiciones de luz escasas, el sonido es también bastante bueno. Si tuviera que poner un pero, sería el mecanismo de sujeción, este no se basa en ningún tipo de pinza sino que es un suporte que va apoyado en el monitor, lo cual está sujeto a que se mueva o se caiga si se mueve el monitor, yo aconsejo usar cinta de doble cara para asegurar algo más el ajuste. La instalación al menos en windows 8.1 ha sido impecable sin necesidad de ningún driver adicional. Es posible que haya otras webcams con definición Full HD ya que esta solo ofrece 720P, pero estamos hablando de videoconferencias no grabaciones de video, para eso ya existen las videocámaras :), también depende por supuesto de las necesidades de cada uno.

Genel olarak iyi. Bazen ses gecikmeli gidebiliyor veya karşı tarafa kesik kesik gidebilyor. Maalesef birkaç toplantıda başıma geldi. Onun dışında ortalama bir ürün.
