Italeri 1:72 - Rolls Royce Phantom II

I'm making this one up.The bodywork is sprayed Coal Black, with a clear gloss Lacquer sprayed over the body. Doors, Hood and back cover for the Battery are hinged with miniature brass hinges so everything will open. If you are not afraid, the body and the hood had to be cut up to accommodate the hinges. I'm also adding thin wiring from battery to engine to give it lots of authenticity. This model is a must buy for all modellers.

Although this is not the usual Italeri model (the wheels are not rubber, and the plastic is a slightly different type)...it is none-the-less a good model kit. It is supplied in colour that mean you don't have to paint the kit, but in my opinion they are not a very good match to image on the box. I would always paint a kit anyway, so this is not a problem for me. I am part way through the build but have not had any fit issues, and the detail on the parts is up to the usual Italeri high standards. I will post a photo of the finished model in due course. UPDATE: I've taken a star off due to an issue with the fit of the front suspension unit. There was a poor moulding of a key component, that's subsequently meant I've had to make some adjustments. My changes have worked to a degree but it does take a slight edge off the finish. I would order a replacement sprue but they take several weeks to arrive. In the end it won't be noticeable, but be aware that some very small pieces of this particular kit can present issues to the novice builder.

The model arrived on time although the box was slightly crushed but the parts of the model seemed okay .I haven't started to assemble it yet

Second time I've bought it and have deviated both times so it doesn't look like the chavmobile its based on.

Nice italeri model of an iconic car . Good detail and plenty of chrome, pictures don't do this model any justice tbh . Parts all fitted well , enjoyed building this .

worse model ive ever built. comes pre painted in a rotten orange colour not the yellow on the box. pastic tyres, wheels dont turn. build the engine never to be seen again as when you fit the body panels the all glue to each other to form the body. so many fiddly chrome parts its impossible to make look good. so many body parts that dont fit correctly.in general ill fitting parts all around and a waste of money . it looks terrible, DONT BUY.

I built this also, needs careful work, don't glue bonnet on! I sprayed mine mid green and cream and I use cars sprays, primer, top coat, about 5 thin coats, lacquer and polish to high shine Time spent will yield rewards.

Excellent detail, 1:24 perfect scale and a most beautiful car.

Entrega rápida. El material del plástico bueno y el cromo bueno. Lo que no me ha gustado ( es cosa personal) son las ruedas de plástico. Pero es el único punto grave en contra. Por lo demás muy contento. Lo recomiendo.

Disappointed hard plastic and parts do not fit, hard to marge, no info if I need a glue or not . Low quality.

Il modello è ben fatto (lo sto ancora costruendo), peccato che manchino i dettagli per i colori da dare alle varie parti, bisogna adattarsi a guardare la scatola ma per gli interni non è semplice
