This really a great toy, and it absolutely thrills my grandsons (ages 6 and 3). It takes off to an amazing height, even on the low setting. And it takes a large number of take-offs with only one charge. But I have a couple user recommendations that will help max your kids' enjoyment. First, if launching from grass, the little plastic launching frame will not set level, which can cause the rocket to skew off at an angle rather than straight up. So I fastened the launching frame to a 12 by 12 inch board with 3 zip ties and 6 holes (a hole on each side of the 3 launch frame struts), which makes a perfectly stable launch platform. Second, pay close attention to the wind before launching if your launch area is surrounded by trees or homes. The rocket is very light and flies about 100+ feet high. Even a slight breeze will cause it to land 50 to 100 yards away. I had an area about the size of a soccer pitch, and it was too small in a 10-15 mph wind (it landed in a tree 100 yards away). Luckily, we were able to retrieve it. So carefully gauge the wind's intensity and direction to avoid disappointing the kids.

We purchased for my son for Christmas, knowing full well that he would loose it. Oh my goodness am I glad we go this one! When it says it glows, it means forever! He lost it in a long patch of blackberries on the fence line the day after Christmas. It is so well designed, with kids in mind 100%. Perfect size for our 5-12 year old boys to tote around everywhere, but not so small it will get lost, and functions without a bunch of glitches and stall outs that can be so frustrating, this was literally hours of fun (like all day Christmas Day our kids were outside, the neighbors and the cousins, and the men, all outside) Stands up straight and stayed stable, didn't fall over a single time, so no one got hit, so well thought out and safe, it is awesome. Anyways, they lost it weeks ago, we gave up, I was going to order another one for his birthday in a few weeks. We pulled down from the barn last night (dark out) and saw a bright blue glow in the field, I was confused to say the least. Stopped to pull the gate and both boys took off across the field saying something about a rocket and we (my husband and myself) realized what it was. That rocket was still glowing after weeks of sitting in the wet (literally flooded) field, it froze hard last week. Cows have walked around/right over it and it has survived.....not sure what magic you performed but man has this been the best children's toy we've purchased in a long time! Looking forward to using it for a long time, and it will definitely be a go to gift for other kiddos!

This toy does not disappoint! I highly recommend it. It's one of the very best things I've ever bought my great grandson, who is 6. He is thrilled with it. He wanted a rocket ship and that's what this is! I recommend not doing it on days that are windy! Try it on the lower height and only on the higher height when you've got an area that you can see where it goes down to retrieve it. Customer service has been great! Kenny responded right away! 5 stars is the minimum for this toy! I'd buy it again! Perfect size, easy to put together, quality of the rocket is great. The quality is great all around! It's a fun gift to give as well!

Out of all the gifts my son got for his birthday, this Rocket Launcher for Kids was by far his favorite! He couldn’t stop playing with it, and honestly, the whole family ended up getting in on the fun. The first time we launched it, we were absolutely shocked at how high it went — it easily soared way up into the sky and then came back down gently with the parachute. The build quality is great — the rocket is made of durable foam so I don’t have to worry about it breaking or hurting anyone when it lands. The two height settings are awesome for variety; one press sends it up to 100 feet, and two quick presses launch it to around 200 feet! The battery life is amazing too. The charge lasts so long that we were able to keep playing for ages without it dying fast. Plus, the LED lights make night launches super cool — you can actually watch it light up against the dark sky. This rocket is the perfect mix of fun, science, and excitement. It launches impressively high. This provided little boy fun for hours! Kids as young as 4 can easily repack the parachute and launch this rocket over and over, very fun! It is not indestructible, enough little boys will launch it and play with it enough that it will break but it provides weeks and hours of outside fun!

The rockets were high quality and went so high and far. Provided lots of running and laughs to retrieve them. Use in a park or a large flat area to retrieve. Adult supervision recommended.

Son absolutely loves this. It goes extremely high in the sky! We have to launch it off at the park though because it is easy to get stuck in a tree and you cannot get it down once it is stuck. Love that the battery is rechargeable. You get a good 15-20 minutes of repetitive launching before it's dead. Definitely recommend. :) great quality rocket!.
