Frisk Tracedown A4, Pack of 5, Graphite

These are the modern version of carbon paper except the marked line can be erased without smudging and no mess. An easy way to trace turning your own photos into a painting, especially for those who find drawing challenging. I use it for watercolour it can be used for illustration, design and crafts. Available in single sheets or 5 sheet packs A3 A4 A5 and graphite, red, blue, yellow & white for transfer onto a black surface. The packaging states wax free, water soluble, works on paper, canvas, card, fabric ceramic, glass, wood & plastic. Great product.

I use this Artist carbon paper a lot when preparing fairly technical projects to paint. The pack contains several sheets and they do last ages so value for money. Saves having to use tracing paper as it’s like using carbon paper to make a copy of something, doesn’t smudge and isn’t messy at all. The copied lines on the work are easily covered once painted over. Highly recommend this for any artist who wants to produce accurate copies of any design they want o paint.

I bought this product to trace some elements of watercolour illustrations. It is a good product, but my only issue is that when I brushed water onto the sheet, quite a lot of the lines disappeared; washed away with laying on the water. I now know to go over the lines with a graphite pencil after my initial tracing. It maybe that I was too gentle with my pressure during the tracing, but I enjoyed using it and will buying it again.

I love this when I am trying to get the right shape. Once I have painted can no longer see the lines. Need to get some more

I've been using this product for years and have now started using the different coloured sheets as well. It is very sensitive so you have to be careful not to press down on other areas of the paper or you will get unwanted marks but it is so much easier to use than traditional tracing paper. Be warned though - it is water soluble so if you are doing a wash with watercolour first your traced image can disappear so I just use a 2B pencil to go around the important lines again before using water.

The Carbon makes it quick and easy to trace onto paper. For those who have never done this before and might be interested, I place the paper that I want to paint on, place the carbon on top, face down, place the picture I want to copy on top, place a sheet of tracing paper over the top of the picture. After tracing the picture, lift the carbon, picture and tracing paper and the picture is clearly traced. Coloured carbon paper is ideal when you want to paint on dark paper as I have illustrated in the photo upload. I have used yellow carbon for tracing onto dark grey paper.

Why is this product now £44! Who in their right mind will buy it. Got to be a mistake! I paid less than quarter of that price!!! I for one won’t buy it at that price

Marks are easily erased. This was a replacement for a previous paper from different manufacturer that claimed to be erasable but it was not.

Vraiment super pour réaliser un schéma à partir d'une photo sur un papier un peu granuleux. Les 5 couleurs permettent de choisir la meilleure combinaison entre le papier frisk et la feuille du dessin.
