Soundcore VR P10 Wireless Gaming Earbuds-Low Latency, Dual Connection, 2.4GHz Wireless, USB-C Dongle Included-Compatible with Steam Deck, PS4, PS5, PC, Switch

These are decent earbuds, but they aren’t what I was hoping for. The good: - The sound is great - They seem to have low latency (I really like the 2.4gz USB-C connection to the computer or device your listening to.) - The lights are cool and it’s nice that you can change the color in the app, but the colors are really limited. The bad: - You cannot use the Bluetooth and 2.4gz connection at the same time. - The earbuds are not very comfortable, and they start to hurt my ears a little after about 1-2 hours of being in my ears. Overall, I can deal with the discomfort, but I’m really frustrated that you can’t use the Bluetooth and 2.4gz connection simultaneously. I liked the idea of being able to connect the USB-C device to my computer, and connect the Bluetooth device to my phone. I thought I’d be able to easily answer calls while on my computer without interrupting my music or game. Although, since you can’t use the Bluetooth and 2.4gz connection at the same time, it creates more problems than it solves. I finally had to disconnect the Bluetooth functionality from my phone because every time I would get a message or anything would come through my phone, then the earbuds would disconnect from my computer, then take a second to connect to my phone, and then disconnect from my phone and take a second to reconnect to my computer. This would get really annoying especially if I got a number of messages or calls in a row on my computer. If they could update these to allow you to use the Bluetooth or 2.4gz connection simultaneously, then this would easily be a 5 star product. I hope they come out with an update, or a new product in the future with the ability to simultaneously use Bluetooth and 2.4gz, so I can talk with someone on the phone while on my computer/gaming. UPDATE: I updated my review from 3 to 5 stars because Anker reached out because they were concerned about my experience. I’m really impressed that they really stand behind their products. I’ve bought a number of Anker products and this was the first that I’ve had any sort of issue with. After thinking about this more, I think this is a 5 star product because it does everything it’s advertised to do flawlessly. It’s not advertised to have the 2.4gz connection work simultaneously with the bluetooth connection, so I was originally being overly critical. This product didn’t work out for me, but this doesn’t seem like it’s a serious issue for the vast majority of others that have tried these earbuds.

TL;DR - As the title says - Yes, these ABSOLUTELY work with PS5 and they work REALLY well. In this day and age you have to take customer reviews with a grain of salt. As it stand with tech gear, some people may not be as tech savvy as others and out of frustration they throw up bad review after bad review. Now I'm not implying that I'm a super tech savvy person because I'm not. But I'm not a luddite either. Some of the reviews I've read for these earbuds say that you can't connect them to a PS4/5. Not true, you can. Some reviews say that you can't adjust the output volume while using said console/s. Again, that's simply not true. You just need to know how to operate your console. And some other reviews say that the sound quality is poor. Maybe (but with a big caveat). Sound and visuals are purely subjective - what looks or sound good to one person may not look or sound good to the next but if you download the Soundcore app you can use one of the several EQ presets or you can create a custom EQ setting that's to your liking. I made my own EQ setting which I've included a picture of so that you can use it a base line/starting point for your own custom setting. The other included picture is a screen grab of sound setting menu midgame on the PS5 (playing as Lev in TLOU2's No Return mode). Clearly you can see that my PS5 recognizes these buds and included dongle as they're named as the output device. Below that is the volume slider where you can adjust the output volume. Sure it's not as quick to adjust your volume in game as you have to press the "PS" button on the Dualsense to access the sound menu but it really only takes literally a few seconds. As for the claims that you volume isn't loud enough, as you can see my slider is set to just past halfway and that's plenty loud enough for me (and this is coming from someone who blares Biggie and Bad Brains in their ears on a daily basis (amongst many other artists of course). And speaking of music, you'll be happy to know that these aren't just for gaming! I wasn't planning on using these for any but gaming but since you can create custom EQ presets and change them on the fly depending on whether you're listening to Bach or Suicidal Tendencies, it's made me a believer. I already have 2 other sets of earbuds that I use to with my phone for taking calls and listening to music on the go, a pair of JBL something or others and a pair of Bose Quiet Ultras. Do these sound as good the Bose when i tweak the Eq? Honestly, no they don't but I paid a fraction of the cost for these and $300 for the Bose! The Jbls though... these sound just as good if not better than them because with the Jbls you're stuck with their driver tuning (which tends to be bass heavy) because they don't offer a custom option/app for the model I have and whose name escapes me. I do know I paid around $100 for them and I do know that Jbl does have an app that has a custom EQ option but like I said, these Soundcore only cost $55, a fraction of each of my other buds! So to sum it all up - works on PS4/5, can connect to both my phone and consoles AT THE SAME TIME (yes you can answer calls while gaming and the buds will prioritize the call's volume and lower the game's volume automatically when you're speaking on the phone), the sound quality punches way above its weight class especially considering the budget pricing and probably my most favorite thing and the reason why I bought them in the first place - NO MORE cords while gaming!! Why on earth I waited for so long IDK but I've always found over the ear gaming cans too hot to use for more than a few minutes and wireless ear buds for the PS5 not having very many options (until I started actively looking that is).

For this review, I will not be talking about the sound quality and the ear fit. For one, I am not an audiophile. As long as they are decent, they all sound the same to me. Also, everyone's ear size is different. What might fit perfectly for you might fall of on my ears. Instead I will be talking about my experience with it while paired with my Meta Quest 3s. I bought this specifically for Beat Saber. If you have played the game, then you know how important sound latency is to playing Beat Saber. I had the 3s originally paired with a cheap JLAB earbuds. It had amazing sounds, but because it was connected via Bluetooth, there was a noticeable lag that threw me off my gameplay. Even maxing out the latency compensator 300ms was not enough because the Bluetooth lag was around 1000ms. The P10 fixed that lag. It was as if it had the same latency as the built-in speakers. There was no need to adjust the latency compensator at all. So why did I give this product 4 stars? Well, because just as other people have pointed out, the volume was too low. It almost defeats the purpose of having an earbuds. I have tried everything from setting the equalizer, raising the volume of the Quest headset via the OS and the buttons, and I even tried updating the firmware of the dongle (This raised the volume by a bit, but not by much). This phenomena is really weird considering that it sounded just fine when I was using it via Bluetooth, but once I connect it with the dongle, the volume goes back to being very muted. Another gripe I have, albeit very minor, is that the dongle does not interface well with the official Meta battery strap. It will still charge my VR headset, but it does not display the battery levels individually. It is a minor gripe though considering that the dongle cannot pass through data, but this is something to keep in mind if you intend to use it for PCVR using a link cable. At that point, it is better to connect the dongle straight to your PC. With all that said, I still gave it a four star because there is nothing like this at this price point, and this is the only USB-C earphones (that I can find) that has a pass-through capabilities. I am still using it, even with it's flaws, as this is the best tool I can use to get better at Beat Saber. For anything else VR-wise, I revert back to my JLabs, and for my phone I rather use my Airpods.

These are not your average true wireless earbuds. In a saturated market of wireless earbuds, these bring a unique feature that opens up many new possibilities of uses that most people might not even know. If you've ever used bluetooth earbuds and noticed that what you were watching or playing wasn't matching up with the sound, then you've experienced audio latency. Bluetooth in its current state is the guilty party that can cause that effect where the lips don't match the voice. Some might not be bothered by this, but once you see it, you can't stop thinking about it. Some hardcore gamers get around this by using 2.4ghz instead of the Bluetooth protocol. 2.4ghz headphones have virtually no latency whatsoever, but require you use a dongle to plug into your device. These Soundcore VR P10 headphones are hybrids with both functions. The dongle allows imperceptibly low latency. But because they are also capable of using the bluetooth protocol, you are able to connect these to both your gaming device and your phone. While gaming or watching videos, if you get a call on your phone, it will automatically lower the volume on your game or video, while prioritizing your call volume. It's a seamless experience. 2.4ghz headphones existed for a while, but until recently, they were mostly over-the-ear style. Personally, I can't stand anything on my head for long periods of time due to the pressure and overheating. There are only a handful of in-ear earbuds with 2.4ghz dongles at the time of this review. This one is the ONLY one that has a passthrough charging feature on the dongle itself. If you use a dongle on a device with only one USB-C port, then you'll have to choose between charging or listening. These dongles allow you to do both. With the battery life of devices like the Quest 2, you'll definitely need to do both at the same time. Non-gamers: If you have a phone, tablet, or laptop that you use to watch movies or shows, take zoom calls, or listen to music, as long as it has a USB-C port you can instantly connect these headphones to your device without fumbling around in the bluetooth settings trying to get it to pair. This is immensely helpful if you constantly switch between using a laptop, a tablet, and a phone. Imagine you are watching a movie on a tablet and you get a zoom call on your laptop. Instead of unpairing and repairing, you just slap the dongle in. Additionally, Anker has stated that more dongles will be available for purchase soon, meaning that you can have multiple dongles, each plugged into a device you use often, and just switch via the app. All the while having low latency. PS5: I've tested it with the PS5. It works flawlessly. Instant connection and no noticeable latency. The sound is very immersive and I can easily tell the direction of footsteps in-game. Additionally, these earbuds finally allow you to use wireless headphones with your PS5. Previously, you had to either use over-the-ear style 2.4ghz headphones, or use a wired headphone plugged into your controller. Otherwise the latency would be preposterous. If you use your PS5 as a media player (Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, etc.) you'll be able to enjoy private listening with wireless earbuds and have no latency. Pair this with a PS5 remote and now you have one of the best and most powerful "Smart-TVs" with a private listening function. If you live in an apartment and watch movies, you're probably constantly turning down the volume when an explosion or shot rocks you to your core, and then turning it back up because you can barely hear the whisper dialogue in the next scene. With these headphones, you can peacefully watch your movie as intended, while not worrying about cables, latency, or your neighbors getting mad. Steamdeck: Works exactly as you might expect. I have not run into any issues. Passthrough charging works great. If the sound suddenly doesn't work and you see "echo-sink-cancel", then its a bug with the Steamdeck, not the headphones. Restart to fix. Be aware that if you buy the official Steamdeck dock, that there is no USB-C out port on that dock. You may have to buy a USB-C to USB-A adapter for the dongle. Quest 2: These headphones were made for the Meta Quest 2. In VR, if you have any sort of latency, it could make things very disorientating and nausea inducing. These are perfect for having an immersive experience and reducing VR sickness. One cool feature is that if you are using it with the Quest, you can turn down the 2.4ghz signal to prevent interference with your wifi. Since the earbuds are so close to the dongle when you use it with the quest, you don't need the signal to be strong. Also, the quest dies very quickly. These are the only true wireless earbuds with a dongle that lets you charge and listen at the same time. They sound much better than the stock speakers on the Quest 2 and allow you to pinpoint the direction that sounds are coming from. The point of VR is immersion. Audio immersion is just as important as visual immersion. Switch: The passthrough function does not work with a Switch. I believe it's a limitation with the Switch's software. It doesn't seem to allow the one USB-C port to have multiple functions at the same time. The headphones still work beautifully via the dongle, but you won't be able to charge at the same time. Not the fault of the soundcore earbuds though. Maybe it can be patched by a switch software update in the future. If you play in docked mode, maybe try plugging the dongle into a USB-C to USB-A adapter and then into the dock. I have not tried this, but it might work. PC: Not every PC has USB-C ports. Not to worry, I have tested these with a USB-C to USB-A adapter and it works great. If your PC does not have a USB-C port, you will need to buy an adapter separately. Otherwise, all features (volume adjust, low latency) function well. Mac: Works really well. You can even adjust volume with a tap on the earbuds (gesture can be adjusted in the mobile app). Since these are both bluetooth and 2.4ghz, you can have them connected to your phone and MacBook at the same time for the ultimate productivity experience. The sound will come through both depending on which device you are using. Example, Zoom on MacBook to phone call on iPhone automatically. iPad: Also works well. Passthrough charging is quite important since the iPad only has one USB-C port. If you game on your iPad, you'll appreciate it. ChromeOS/Chromebook: Works fine but currently there is a weird bug in ChromeOS with USB-C headphones. The volume will adjust normally up to around 50% volume where the loudness suddenly blasts your ears at 51% volume. Be careful with Chromebooks until they patch this. Keep it under 50% or test it past 50% with them out of your ears. **Cons** With certain devices (Switch, Some Tablets), these headphones are a bit limited. The passthrough charging feature won't work unless your device allows that USB-C port to multitask. So be aware of your devices functionality if you're buying this to use with a specific device. With certain devices (Switch, PS5), adjusting the volume via tapping the earbuds don't work. This is again a limitation of the software of those devices, not the earbuds. On the PS5, it is a painful multi-step process to adjust the volume in their menus. Hopefully a software patch will fix this as USB-C headphones become more popular. On mobile devices like Android and iOS tablets and phones, PCs, and MacBooks, it works just fine. The dongle is kept in the top part of the case via a magnet. It's very easy to put it in, but kind of a pain to remove the dongle since it's recessed so far in. If you have bigger hands, this might irritate you. I suggest taking the earbuds out first before trying to take the dongle out. With the exception of some devices, the headphones work amazingly and sound great. They solve a very niche but very annoying problem. Get them, you won't regret it.

Pros: - Super easy plug-and-play dongle, Windows automatically sets it up, good to go in under a minute. - Works as advertised! Lighting fast, there's NO detectable lag in gaming, whether VR or 2D. - Great design, the buds and case look much more expensive than $70. - Good amount of options on the Soundcore app. - Good sound quality out of the box, but you can tune it with the app to be even better. - Awesome purple LEDs on the buds. (Can be changed to a few other color options in the app.) - Great battery life. They last longer than my longest VR gaming session ever would. Cons - Randomly, one or the other ear bud will drain to 5% battery level even when sitting in the fully charged case. - You'll need to buy a USB-A male to USB-C female adapter if your PC doesn't already have a USB-C port. - Not the most comfortable earbuds I've owned, but not the worst either. - Sound levels on PC could be higher. Update: After having these for quite a while, I'm deducting a star because at least once every 3 or 4 weeks, one of the ear buds (sometimes the left, sometimes the right) will drain down to 5% battery, even if they have been sitting for a day or more in the fully charged case. They could even be above 80% when I put them in the case, but it drains to almost nothing in as little as a few hours, for no good reason. This is a frequent problem, and it's a really stupid problem to have. I have 2 other sets of wireless earbuds from Soundcore, the Liberty 3 Pro and the Life P3, both of which are great, but the Life P3 are very comfortable for longer periods, while I could never get the Liberty 3 Pro to fit comfortably no matter what I did. These VR P10 buds fall somewhere just behind the Life P3, where they feel comfortable at first, but after about an hour of play, they start to hurt my ears a bit. If I move them around a little, it will alleviate some of the discomfort, but you know how some earbuds are so comfortable that you might forget you have them on? Yeah, these never quite reach that point. On the plus side, they stay put and never feel like they're going to work their way out of my ear while playing VR games either, which is important. The discomfort could be from the shape of my ear, so they might be more comfortable (or less?) for other people. Out of the box the sound quality is pretty good for music and gaming, although some might find it to be a little too flat, so I definitely recommend connecting them to your mobile device with the Soundcore app and tweaking the EQ to your taste, mostly when it comes to games. (Bump those low freq's up for gunfire and explosions.) You don't need to leave the Bluetooth connected between your phone and the VR P10's, they will remember the EQ settings even after you disconnect and switch to PC audio output. (For music, I always listen with a flat or no EQ, but I have better earbuds for music listening sessions. I got these specifically for VR gaming only.) My HMD is a Samsung Odyssey+, if you're wondering. I really like the case design and the way the buds snap magnetically into the holding positions, and the white shell of the buds with silver accents make them look more expensive than they are. The LED's are freakin' dope too. (They can be disabled in the app if you're worried about battery life, but from what I've seen so far, they have little effect on battery drain.) The buds are a little slippery though, so make sure you got a grip on them whenever you are putting them away or taking them out of the case. I got a couple of inexpensive USB-A to USB-C adapters, and when I plugged the VR P10 dongle in the adapter and then into my PC, Windows recognized the dongle within seconds, and soon after I was able to select it as an audio output from the sound popup in the taskbar. Easy peasy. No fiddling needed. The only downside is that the buds are a bit on the quiet side, and even though I don't have any hearing problems, I have to push the volume up past 80 to really hear everything while gaming, but to be fair, although 100 (full volume) is easily bearable, that's more than I would ever actually need, so it works out alright.

So these are obviously marketed as for the quest vr headset. But also secondarily as for the steam deck, PC, etc. I have a steam deck but haven't used it for that. I plugged the dongle to my PC which is why I bought this. As the pic shows I have a good amount of earbuds. I have a bunch of headsets with 2.4ghz USB dongles but not earbuds. I have been messing with multiple operating systems and boot drives....reasons don't matter...but doing this requires re pairing Bluetooth each time and it's super annoying...and I prefer earbuds sometimes. So no wires and no headsets. That brought me to these. Do they sound as good as airpod pros? Not really. Do they sound bad? No. Do they have really good passthrough and ANC? No. Do they cost $200? Also no. Do I find these refreshing? Yes actually. At one point Bluetooth multipoint or something and connecting to various devices was really pushed. It isn't anymore idk what happened to it. Samsung has some features only with Samsung stuff. That brings me to this. If you plug the dongle to PC and it will pair to the phone like normal. And with no input or anything from you it will be multi connected...you can use your phone and PC with same headset at same time with no thought. It works really good. I like it and it just works regardless of phone or PC. It's whatever software is in the earbuds. Watch YouTube on PC. Phone rings it just drops down the the YouTube and takes the call. Use you voice assistant same thing drops down the PC and does what it has to do on phone. It's actually very nice. For the price these are good headphones. If you find the unique set of features useful it's really good for the price. Soundcore is a respectable headphone. It's not a knockoff Amazon popup. I can definitely recommend these if you want to multiconnect with a USB device. Edit: I want to add both don't always play at the same time. I have had it do it but usually it just stops whatever. Mostly it's good but like the unlock sound on your phone is annoying as it cuts from the PC to play that stupid sound. Can probably be changed in the phone but yeh. Still like them but that's a little thing. If you could alter how it behaves in the app or something could be nice....

My review covers the steam deck and the soundcore app that goes with these buds. Pros: -no (perceptible) latency with the usb-c dongle, perfect for gaming on the steam deck -negligible latency, almost imperceptible, when using bluetooth to watch videos on my phone (old pixel 3 xl with AAC codec), -great sound **When properly adjusted in the app, photo explanation below** -easy/instant control of EQ to get the overall sound you feel is best -Fit very comfortably in the ears for extended periods -0 issues pairing, setting anything up, extremely quick, seems dummy proof. -Could get more dongles in the future if I want (...if they're available) -a handful of options for the color light accent (and ability to turn it off! though i like it) -The dongle has its place in the case when not in use. -the earbuds and dongle easily pop into the case via magnets. Really idiot proof. I have no problem getting the dongle out, though you can't really use one finger to do it. -Maintain a bluetooth connection to something like your phone while using the dongle to get sound from your games. Cons: -No black/dark option -The power passthrough on the dongle is not very much, which is an issue for steam deck users. I guestimate that it must be somewhere in the 20w area (deck needs 45w). I did not test a higher wattage (65w+) charger to see if you can get more throughput (doubtful), but on the 45w charger for the deck through the dongle, it supplies enough power to hold the battery % in place while playing titles such as Hades. Good enough for me. -sound out of the box is... extremely muddy and arguably bad. at least you can fix that. -colors are limited, must not have full rgb, which is fine, but just be aware. red/purple/pink area. -You will likely have to turn off "media" audio on your phone when bluetooth connected to it and simultaneously using the dongle for a game. Any little sound from your phone (notifications, taps, etc) will interupt the sound from the dongle for a few seconds, no exceptions. However, if you get a call, it will do both audio at the same time (supposedly, i've not tested this). Hopefully they can figure out how to fix this little hiccup but don't bet on it. Notes: -Pictured is my EQ setting, where I feel the sound is most full and clear. the default soundcore sound sounds like garbage, is extremely boomy and muddy with no high clarity. None of the presets really get what I wanted, so this setting pictured is my best approximation of "clarity". I think there's some additional processing that must be happening in the buds that may be compressing the audio a bit, but that's just a guess and may not be true. -The case fits perfectly in the steam deck case, doesn't feel like it will fall out either. -check out reviews on youtube, such as the ShortCircuit review (LTT) where I saw these (though that one is a sponsorship and not strictly a review). Ultimately I do recommend these for steam deck users looking for a non-bluetooth way to get latency free audio, but still have bluetooth options. It's a great product overall.

I have had these earbuds for about a week now. Customer service has been great, Thank you! Even though I can't use these earbuds fully as intended. I think part of the problem is issues with my phone's design and not the earbuds. For what I can use them for they do a really nice job. The sound quality is really nice. The latency on my laptop with the dongle is unnoticable. this will not stop me from buying from Soundcore in the future. I recieved these earbuds this morning a couple hours ago: I bought these for 2 uses. First to use on my Laptop while playing games and watching videos. 2nd to use on my phone to also watch videos and play games. On setting up the earbuds I updated the firmware of the earbuds with my phone. In order to update the firmware for the dongle I had to plug the dongle into my phone. I had no issues during update. After setting everything up I plugged the dongle into my laptop using a A to C adapter (not included) to check out the sound quality. The earbuds actually sounded really good. I watched some videos and played some Lost Ark and didn't notice any latency issues. All good.... It was at this time I tried to use the dongle on my phone. It was a no go, there was no noification when I plugged in the dongle. I went into the app and could not get the dongle to connect. Turned off bluetooth and the app asked for it to be turned back on in order to see the earbuds. So I guess the only way to use the earbuds on my phone is through Bluetooth. I haven't noticed alot of latency with the earbuds using bluetooth. I then tried to use the dongle on my android tablet, It worked fine with no connection issues. I guess I can live with this issue. One thing I can not understand is whenever using the dongle on my laptop or tablet if I do anything on my phone it causes the sound to drop out in the earbuds. If I open my alarm app, sound pauses, when I close the alarm app the sound pauses. If I got to my bank app the sound pauses, when I close the bank app the sound pauses. If I get a notification the sound drops out however there is no notification sound played. No matter what I do on my phone it causes the sound to drop out for a short while. This is really annoying! My phone is a Google Pixel 7 running Android 13 and is fully updated.

After trying both the SteelSeries Arctis 7P and Sony Pulse 3D for my PS5, I found neither to be satisfactory. Despite the Arctis 7P’s popularity, I believe they are overrated and don’t live up to the hype. The Pulse 3D performed better in comparison, but neither pair could match the comfort and convenience I’ve grown accustomed to with AirPods. That’s when I decided to try the Soundcore earbuds, and they’ve proven to be almost perfect for my needs. If you prefer in-ear earbuds over over-ear headphones, these are an excellent option for gaming on the PS5. They offer incredibly low latency, and the sound quality is outstanding. However, there is one significant drawback: the battery life. While the case holds a decent charge, the earbuds themselves only last for about two hours of continuous use. If the built-in LED lights are left on, the battery life can drop to just over an hour. Thankfully, there is an option to turn off the lights, which helps extend the usage time. Overall, I think these Soundcore earbuds provide excellent value, especially considering their sound quality and low latency performance. I did notice they were available at AED 199 during a sale, but even at AED 323, they remain a good deal for what they offer. And the style goes with the PS5 aesthetics.

Colour me surprise, these earbuds has no latency issue at all if you are using the wifi dongle, I can accurately play rhythm games on my smartphone without any audio sync dely setting used. It's as fast as using a wired ear buds. I have the Soundcore Liberty 2 Air, and the airpod form factor keeps falling out of my ears, so the wing tips of the Soundcore Liberty 2 solve that problem. Now this Soundcore VR ear buds, I was worry that the earbuds will full out often like the Liberty 2 air, but it didn't at all. It actually stayed in place no matter how much I shake my head and move my jaw (like eating motion). The led is both a plus and a minus. sure it consumes power, but it is so handy when you misplace the earbuds, looking around for it. Here are some flaws with these ear buds: * If you are using any device with a case, you will need a usb-c extender. * The bass is on the lower side, so you need to go into the app and turn up the bass. It's not too much of an issue on a device with the app. Not too sure on a device with the soundcore app. Bass is pretty important for explosion sound effects. * Some apps, like Whatsapp, do not play nice with the mic on wifi. You will soumd like a chipmunk for the first 2s of using the mic before it starts working properly. It's pretty hilarious. So I advise you to test the mic on wifi using your most common voice communication app to see if there is any problem. Some app works perfectly from the get-go. Hopefully this is not the case when playing games. Bluetooth mic works perfectly though. * The bluetooth mode does not support Aptx-LL and Aptx-adaptive for low latency since the wifi is fast. * Since these earbuds are made for low latency for vr gaming, not for listening to music, so the music audio quality may not be up to your standards. If you want an earbud for music, or an earbud with quality mic for conversion, look elsewhere. If it is for rhythm gaming, I advise getting a wired earbud with great sound quality instead.

When I went looking for some Bluetooth earbuds specifically to replace my broken Oculus headphones, I went through many of these "low latency" gaming buds in my search... I'll save you the trouble: Don't bother, they all suck. The lag went from painful to ridiculous. What makes these different? The USB receiver removes the lag, all of it. No Bluetooth required. Plug it into your Quest? Works. PS5? Works. Steam Deck? Works. PC? Works. XBOX? Not so much, but I'm okay with that. The sound quality is decent, but not amazing. An EQ is available, but requires a phone and an app to set up. A Soundcore account is available for cloud storage of your presets, but thankfully not required for app usage. It also displays battery percentage for each bud, something that many of the others didn't. No drivers are required, everything I connected it to worked without issue. The battery does not last the projected six hours using headphones and mic but charges fast (15 - 40 mins). The case will charge your buds another 2 times without the USB power connected. I'm not keen on this due to possible overcharging and killing your battery sooner. Also, you need the app to see your current battery level. With a set of three lights on each bud, it would have been a no-brainer to utilize them for indication but alas, that's a missed opportunity. You can buy a separate USB dongle on it's own to connect to multiple devices without having to plug and unplug, but it's currently not available in the Canadian Amazon store. A USB-C connection for the dongle makes sense, but not including an C to A converter feels like an omission if you can't dedicate a port strictly to the Soundcore. Overall the Soundcore beats out buds 2 and 3 times their cost for utility and usage. The sound may not be as impressive, but at least you won't be waiting 100+ms to hear it.
