You need a screwdriver.Remove door opening mechanism from inside door.unscrew big bolts which hold yale front.key mech can now be removed through front.Remove rim and replace with door pull.

I am interested to find out why the cost of this has almost doubled in the lat last 2 weeks?

Not sure but most likely supplies are more difficult to obtain
