I have been slowly making the transition toward drip filtered coffee and this was the final piece of the puzzle. It's an amazing and in-expensive piece of kit that makes around 1 cup of coffee (sometimes two if you know what you're doing) and is super easy to clean and take care of. I suspect my next purchase will be a size 2 if I need more coffee.

Second one I bought of these after an unfortunate drop during a house move broke the latter. The hario V60 is my go-to for pour overs. Affordable and the filters are readily available. A staple brand for a long time now, can’t go wrong.

I bought this v60 as I wanted to see what all the fuss is about. I already have stove top, aeropress, a coffee percolator and an espresso machine, but aside from the aeropress, the others can be fiddly or take longer.I went for the no2 size so I can do 2 cups at a time.This is now my go to coffee brewing device, it makes great coffee consistently, and I can really tell the difference and subtleties of the different beans I try.There is a technique, but there are plenty of videos and guides online to support.

You really need circular filters for this, though you can make average supermarket ones do. The picture may not make this clear, but this size is a small one for a teacup sized portion. For a mugful you really need a bigger one, though one and two thirds of these should do you a mug. It takes several minutes to drain through, by which time the coffee is warm enough but no longer hot. The taste you get is good, and you get very little coffee ground. You don't have to spend ages banging bits of coffee out of it, a quick rinse and it's ready to go again. Sometimes I use it, sometimes I don't.

Small cone for one or two cups of drip coffee. I bought it for use in England where there are virtually no drip coffee makers. They will make instant or use a French Press. Even though the instant coffees I drank over the month I was in England were far better than the Instant Coffees in the US. I still missed fresh brewed. I'd brought a pound of my favorite coffee (Gevala Traditional Roast) with me but it was too fine of a grind to use for a French Press. French Press needs medium grind and since drip-grind is much smaller I ended up with grinds in my coffee cup. So I bought this small drip cone and all was well with the world once again!

First purchase from Amazon but this is the best way to drink filtered coffee in my opinion.Good quality and works great, l wish hario also made a glass version too.

The V60 is a classic for a reason. The design is simple, easy to use, and very easy to clean.I also have the single-cup version, and this Size 02 is great when making a bit more at once. The clear plastic version obviously doesn’t have the same heat retention as the glass or ceramic models, but for everyday use it performs exactly as it should.I often use it for cold brew or lighter brews where heat retention isn’t critical, and it works perfectly.
