Gaviscon Strawberry Tablets, Pack of 48

I get occasional indigestion. Usually when I eat something spicy. I've always liked this brand, but I dislike aniseed, and the mint one reminds me of toothpaste so it doesn't go down easily. Then I came across these. They taste like they should, not too chalky, and they work. I like buying the big packet so I can stash strips in my bag, one by my chair, one in my handbag, so I can have relief anywhere.

In terms of doing what it's meant to, they really work very well. The problem is that you have to "chew thoroughly" and they are not powdery like other brands, they become sticky and slimey when you chew them and it gets stuck in your teeth, worse still is it might be strawberry flavour, but they're salty! They do not work if you dont chew them so this is a must for function and the texture and flavour is just too horrible! It also doesn't work instantly like the liquid does, so in all honesty if you want convenience and portability get the sachets of liquid.

As a regular heartburn sufferer, I decided to buy this bulk pack so I would always have them on me. I love them. They are fantastic and I will replace them as soon as I run out..... in a very long time. It's a huge pack!! Great price.

NOT EFFECTIVE

these tablets are not as good as the liquid as they take much longer to get into your system so i am staying with the Gaviscon extra strength aniseed

I couldn't live without my Gaviscon and the strawberry ones taste nice.

Not as effective as the normal double action tablets.

My husband uses these to relieve his regular indigestion. Starts with two tablets but takes four if the discomfort is severe. It helps him to fall asleep in the evenings. For me, I take four tablets initially as I don’t like the discomfort of indigestion and it helps within five minutes. Neither of us like the mint flavouring so opt for the slightly more expensive strawberry. Usually same price on amazon as in the shops.
