does it come with a charger

Mine did.But I had to receive three 'phones before I got a 'phone that worked properly.

does it work on three (3) network

apart from BT does is this phone compatible with any network?

My old phone fell down into a drain. I had a new phone today, tried fitting the enclosed sim card to no avail. Have I got to buy a new sim card ?

You did not mention where you got the sim card from? Is it a new one or is it from the phone that fell down the drain? This phone takes a standard sim (full size) and as it is SIM free you should be able to put any sim from any network in it. If you have put your old sim in it and it is not working I would suggest you get a new one as it may be damaged. If it is a new Sim then it should work. If you still have problems can I suggest that you borrow someone else's sim and put it in the phone just to see whether there is a problem with the phone itself.
