At first, I was hesitant to try this because I was on a tight budget, but I gave it a go anyway—and I’m glad I did. I was genuinely surprised at how well it filters my tank, performing almost like some of the more well-known brands. It keeps the water clean and clear and overall does a great job. I now have two of these running on my fish tanks, which says a lot! It also comes with all the filter media needed to grow beneficial bacteria, which is a big plus—especially if you’re on a budget, as you don’t need to buy anything separately. Another great thing is that it runs very quietly, which makes it perfect for home use. The build feels a bit plasticky, but honestly, it doesn’t affect performance at all. For the price, the quality is great. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a reliable, affordable, and silent filter!

So far so good, read conflicting reviews about noise and difficulties priming so here's my experience. It isn't silent bit it's really quiet, we can only here it when everything in the room is off, as for priming issues you must ensure both the inlet and outlet are submerged in the tank, prefill the cannister then power on, open inlet valve for 1-2 seconds then close it, repeat this process until it is primed. If the outlet comes above the water line at any point you will need to restart from the beginning. The flow rate isn't the best so if you have fish that like fast flow this isn't the filter for you. I have it on a 60l aqua scape and it's low to moderate flow at best. All in all for the price you can't complain. I can see cleaning will be messy so I've bought 2 quick connect shut off valves to fit inline so I can shut them both of and remove cannister, the filter only has one shut off on the inlet side

When the pump works, it works! it’s quite a huge ballache to get it started and I would recommend adding water into the canister itself to help the siphon start otherwise it’s gonna burn the pump out. But only thing I wish that it had was an option to extend the inlet valve go lower into the tank, because it is quite high up at the moment (just sitting on top edge of the tank and I would prefer it to be lower and closer into the water. It seems like a good budget friendly way to get a canister filter for your fish tank. I would recommend but take time to prepare the canister filter before turning it on.

Very easy to setup, has plenty of filter media so if your using turbostart 700, you can do a fish in cycle if your monitoring daily... Had to modify my tank to fit the tubing in but now it's in tanks running great... filter is very quiet, I like the addition of two attachments, adjustable nozzle or spraybar.... Price is great for what it is, was a bit skeptical but so far so good...

Excellent little filter and great value for money. Easy to set up but tricky to prime. Tried as per product video to no avail. Had to manually siphon inlet tubing down to filter and it started working fine. Water crystal clear and filter not noisy at all. Overall highly recommend.

Unusable. I lost about 10 hours trying to get this to work then eventually got a tiny trickle going through. The motor is gutless, the tubes are thick and unwieldy. There was no way I could get it to do the job. I then had a terrible time returning it. Return labels that didn't work and so forth. Avoid.

Have the filter for a few years and there is a constant issue with water leaking when I am setting it up after cleaning. I changed the inner rubber insulation twice and keep it clean but this hasn’t fixed the problem and I always need to keep the filter in a 5l bucket to make sure the water is not flooding and prevent occasional leaks. It takes minimum 30-40hrs for the filter to set up and to stop dripping and leaking and it requires multiple times of opening and rearranging. It’s a big issue when I am leaving the house for a couple of days or longer holidays because I am always afraid the water will flood and the tank will be emptied. As much as I am happy with the quality of the water and the level of cleaning, it is simply not worth the stress around the maintenance of the filter.

First time trying out an canister filter bought in november 24..... read update at bottom wow for the price alone I can recommend this filter ,works amazing so easy to set up an install with all fittings an pipes included , followed through a you tube tutorial so I knew I'd set it up correct , used washed out filter water from aquarium to fill the canister,plugged in turned on an I'm amazed at how quick it started working super quiet , an my fish already seem more active highly recommend well worth the price I should of got 1 sooner... Update feb 25.... still wow can not believe how Crystal clear this filter keeps my aquarium water have to do less maintenance an water changes , total game changer in this hobby so much so I've ordered the bigger 1 for another bigger aquarium still runs quiet an gave it its first maintained check an clear still quiet an running as good as the first day I installed this into my aquarium highly recommend an for the price its supper value 100/10

J'ai acheté cette filtration pour un aquarium de 98 litres. Elle fonctionne très bien et fait aucun bruit je la conseille.

J'ai un aquarium de 70l donc ce n'est pas bien grave mais la pompe est plutôt insuffisante et émet un bruit comme des billes qui se cognent. J'ai calfeutre avec une couverture polaire pour l'insonnoriser un peu en attendant de trouver une autre solution. Le bac et ses filtres sont très bien. Attention par contre car ce n'est pas mentionné dans le descriptif mais elle vient avec une prise UK. J'ai dû donc débourser 8€ pour un adaptateur européen.
