Is it possible to replace the battery?

Yes, the battery can be replaced. This calculator uses button cell L1154 battery. You can remove the screws on the back of the calculator and open the back cover to replace the battery.

how can I factor a quadratic equation?

I haven't used it for this, but if you go on Youtube, it has videos that show you how to do Quadratic equations using a Scientific calculator. I hope that helps!
