Highly Recommend
Exceptional. !!! Received this product doubting what I paid for it. It's proved it's worth every penny. Simple to set up and once the App is installed on your phone/Ipad it's Amazing to use. READ all the info on the APP Battery = "live" setting (30s update) 18hrs " daily" setting (1-5min update ) 62hrs "Sleep" setting (position on request) 96hr Recharge times 3-4hrs in the neat cradle -USB It's just small enough, weight = 2x pound coins approximately. Easy to attach to any collar Features 10/10 full marks, once I navigated through the menus & read all the info & tips we attached it to our little precious Roamer who has never worn a collar & he never noticed it . On "daily" setting, Overnight for 10hrs travelling approximately 8 miles !!!! Yes 8 miles round trip through every farm & house in the district then returning home. The "history" feature showed it all & we would have never guessed. Conclusion I would Highly Recommend this product it's very applicable to cats, total anywhere tracking We are now adjusting our cats out times for safety thanks to the tracker showing us he's crossing fast roads Thank you Weenect

Great for tracking your cat; Works just fine; Could have improvements;
I was looking for a GPS collar for my cat a while ago, and after a brief research, weenect cats seemed to be the best in terms of price/performance. I didn't want something too expensive and I also wanted something with a good tracking device and of course, it needed to ship to Portugal, which was the case, so Weenect seemed the perfect option for me. I was hesitant in purchasing such product because my cat it's a champion in losing collars. So I thought, my cat will lose the collar undoubtedly, so I need a product with enough battery life + good tracking device for me to find it when it happens. So after reading the reviews on Amazon, which were in most cases 5+ starts, I decided to purchase the tracker. After just a couple of days, the device arrives in perfect shape. The package was new, it had everything they said it would have: the tracker; silicone cover, charger and instructions manual. The latter is very poor, it's more like an introduction manual rather than an instruction one. I found myself too many times searching for the various functionalities of the tracker on their website. Before I placed the tracker on my cat, I went out with it, in live mode, for testing (after paying the monthly fee of course) The tracker worked with a high precision and I drained the battery so my cat could use it once he wanted out. LOSING THE TRACKER AND MY EXPERIENCE: The cat goes out with the collar, and it seems to work fine. No need to constantly receiving its position, so I use "intelligent" mode instead (more battery saving). My fear became true: cat comes home within two days without the tracker. I had its location on the phone, contacted the services (which were really fast and helpful on the response) they suggested using the "ring" feature to find the tracker - another thing they don't teach you on the manual - I used the ringtone but I couldn't listen to the tracker. I thought I lost it for good. Until hours later a neighbor comes by and bring us the tracker. I was REALLY happy that I had the tracker back, but I needed to fix the issue. First, I got a better collar, completely elastic one, so i could tighten it up to the limit and it would still break loose in case my cat got stuck. The other problem was the ringtone. I tried it at home without the silicone and I could hear it just fine, so I decided to place the sound columns on the non-covered part of the silicone (see picture) and I SUGGEST doing it. --- Problem that might occur: the GPS is not waterproof, the silicone makes it water-resistant, so if it catches water on the columns it's pretty much dead. However, my cat's been out in heavy rain and it works just fine. The cat lost the collar a couple more times, but I could hear the tracker perfectly. It was easy to find. Only trouble was asking permission to the neighbors to get the collar on their garden. BATTERY LIFE: The battery life is good. I don't understand why most users say it's bad and short. If you use it in live mode all the time you will have a short live battery, that's normal, but that's not necessary. The "intelligent" mode will send you in a period of 1 minute if the cat is on the move, or 5 if the cat is stationary. It can last up to 5 days. Yet again my cat doesn't stay out much, and I always turn it off when he's at home (i do use sleep mode if I see he's spending the night out, or the battery is at its 30%; I need to have battery if the cat loses the collar.) PRECISION: The precision of the GPS is fine BUT can have errors if it's close to a high building. Sometimes it sends a position far away and can be troublesome if you live in an area with a lot of buildings (see picture for example). It's not my case, I only have buildings on the street I live. Besides that, the precision is really accurate, but I can have problems locating GPS signal when the weather is really bad (although it's probably the cat it's just hidden somewhere --- inside buildings or with a coverage it doesn't work). WEIGHT: My cat's a large male cat ~ 6-7 KG, and the weight of the device doesn't seem to bother. The silicone however sometimes pulls the fur, and he hates it. EXPERIENCE WITH SERVICE SUPPORT: They answer really fast and are very helpful. I had no troubles with them. FINAL:: So after the review, I rate it a 4 out of 5. The application could have some improvements; the device could have Bluetooth for locating it when the cat loses it; it could be waterproof and the instructions manual really needs some major update. Other than that I highly suggest purchasing this product. I use it for 3 months now.

Excellent product
I can’t remember the last time I reviewed a product. However after trying various GPS trackers I was not hopefully that yet another example would work effectively. To my great surprise Weenect is a very good product and very reliable. Location is resonance accurate for position but with a report delay of up to 5min. The battery life is as listed but as long as the signal strength is over 50%. If it’s not the batter will last significantly less. If your local signal strength is less than 20% it will not work effectively. The customer service is very good . The price and ongoing costs are the best you will get. The only lacking area is it needs a change over battery. However the charging time is quite short. Kevin Nicholson Co Durham

Not a good start...
Received today, but it appears that the Weenect servers have been down for 4 days, which we had no idea about. No communication from the manufacturer, and Amazon said they didn't know about it. Haven't even been able to activate the device yet, so currently we've got an expensive ornament sitting on the coffee table. Hoping the servers go back up soon, else we'll have to try another brand. Very disappointing. Update: Once the servers came up - apparently it was a fault caused by the French internet, which was only communicated to me because I went on Twitter and spoke to other customers - we tried this out. Activating the device was fairly simple, but it did not come fully charged. We put it on our cat, and tracked her throughout the day. So far, so good. We keep our cats in at night, so we took the device off and left it to charge. I checked the app in the morning, and it showed that the device had been all over our street, despite it sitting on the coffee table, and the cat asleep upstairs all night. Strange. Since our cat has had it on for a few days, her behaviour has changed. She's noticeably more tired and docile. We took it off her this afternoon, and she's back to her normal self. Another strange thing. All in, I think we'll be returning this. Unreliable data and service, awful customer service, and it also seems to be affecting our cat. I wouldn't bother with this.

All in all a good product if your cat wonders! Battery life is 1 day not 3.
Works great most of the time. Signal isn’t great in Oxford which is surprising but still works. If your cat wonders into a building it loses signal. Battery says 3 days but it lasts 24 hours, no matter what mode you put it in. Compass works really well, and the tracking is great to. Also ringing or vibrating to find them in a bush is great. Hence to photo, where we found him in a laundry room! App needs to be as good as the internet version.

Hidden costs fails to bring this on par with competitiors
I began the hunt for a GPS collar for my cat as she suddenly wasn't coming home in the evenings - she is 5 years old and despite the odd hot summer day when she likes to stay out, she usually comes home no problem. However, over the period of about a month, she was staying out overnight, then not eating when she came home the next morning. All signs pointed to someone else taking her in. So I began looking for a collar to find out where... I looked at several - probably spent another two weeks researching and had a been aware of the hidden costs with this one, I DEFINITELY would have bought another brand (I don't think I'm allowed to write other names of brands here but I would've bought one which was sleeker looking, came with two batteries or ones that are collar shaped - these options all exist and if you do your research you will find them). I am fairly meticulous with the research I do, so after reading the fairly good reviews and seeing wording such as: *Works with a subscription (from €3.50 a month)* and *You need to choose a plan for your locator since it is equipped with a SIM card. You will need to choose this plan once you receive your locator. All plans include: unlimited tracking, unlimited access to the Web platform and mobile app, and push and email notifications. Plans : Freedom (no commitment): €7.90/month (≈ £7.20); One year: €60 (i.e. €5/month ≈ £4.50); Two years: €85 (i.e. €3.50/month ≈ £3.20).* I judged this to be a reasonably priced product (others you are looking at £100 + subscription cost). The product came... it was simple enough to set up... I chose my subscription plan (1year €60), entered my bank details... bish bash bosh... I thought that was the end of that. £59.99 + €60 for the tracker and any subscription ... GREAT! This seemed about the same cost as some of the fancy trackers I was looking at minus the fancy tracker subscription cost. However I was soon proved to be wrong. **[HIDDEN COSTS INFO]** Before I proceed ALL other collars CLEARLY advertised the price of the collar, plus the monthly subscription cost and if there were any separate sim card costs, this was clearly advertised as a separate cost. However as you can see from the wording I copied and pasted above, this Amazon advertisement did not CLEARLY state that the sim card cost was separate to the plans which they outline. Long story short - a month later, more money came out of my account a £5.29 monthly fee... pardon, excuse me, say what? Turns out, I will now be paying £176.74 in TOTAL! £59.99 for the tracker €60.00 for the subscription PLUS £5.29 per month for the sim (1.99) and multi-risk warranty (3.99) - an additional cost I think based on the wording above was not explained. I contacted the company, based in France and they said: " - Rest assured that we do not want to fool our customers. Indeed, the subscription is written on our website (the Weenect coming with an integrated SIM card) and the 2 options are mentioned in our general terms and conditions: - 8.2. The optional Services and SMS packages are valid for the entire refill period and can be carried over to any refill renewal. “Broken & Lost” and “SMS” options are not link to the Subscription but paid monthly, with an automatic monthly renewal. The 2 options are facultative and can be deactivated. Regarding the subscription, they are paid once for the yearly and biennial subscriptions. It's written on our page when taking the subscription. - The 60 euros are for the 1 year subscription ... - The £5.29 per month is for 2 options: the SMS option (1,99 euros for 20 SMS) and the multi-risk warranty (3.99 euros). They are paid monthly as well." Firstly, I have bought this on Amazon where it does not specify a separate sim card cost. Secondly, "deactivating" the sim card subscription would then make the collar null and void, not to mention the €60 also null and void as I will have subscribed to a product that can no longer work without me paying for the sim card. I would like to point out, for £176.74 I could've got one which comes with EXACTLY the same features, the monthly subscription costs, sleeker/modern design, two batteries, plus a lifetime subscription ... actually, after checking that one I'm describing's website, it's actually coming in at less for £167.70. **[PRODUCT OVERVIEW]** I started off writing this review with 3 stars because as a product... it works 'fairly good' as per the other reviews. Top line thoughts: >- You have to charge every night if using on 'smart mode' as one charge lasts about 30 hours... which if, like me, you let your cats out at 6am-6pm then halfway through the next day it would run out of battery - which is pretty useless. >- It is easy enough to slip in and out of the silicone case, but it is annoying doing it every night she comes in and every morning before she goes out - I think she’s starting to get annoyed about it too. >- As the signal isn't always strong enough to pick up. But we cannot risk having it on 'Sleep' as we live near a wooded area, so if there was no signal, it was on 'Sleep' and something happened to the cat in the wooded area, we would not be able to find her. >- The maps are really basic, but you can make out a rough area in which direction to call for them. But unfortunately, as I have gone back over the payment quarrels I have to reduce this to 2 stars. Simply because for it's overall cost, in comparison to it's leading market competitors, this product simply just does not stand up in terms of quality and design. So if you have £137.12 to spare (that's minus the multi-risk warranty cost) I would advice you spend that £30.58 extra and purchase that product I described above... ***** If you found this review helpful please do let me know by clicking yes below

In-depth review - Very small cats, no problem!
Excellent so far! I'm going to give an indepth review, because I was very apprehensive about spending so much money on a tracker. Setup and use - incredibly easy, no long setup just start up, attach, download app, get subscription and done. Subscription setup was easy, no delay immediate use, my only complaint there is that you must use credit card or set up a direct debit. I would have much preferred PayPal. Also annoying, you cannot edit direct debit details after setting them. You need to call up to cancel it, so make sure your details are 100% correct before hitting confirm. Use - while the app can be a bit clumsy sometimes, it is very good. Not the most intuitive at first, but once you fiddle around and figure it out it's fine. I much prefer to use satellite image map compared to the plain white map, and the ability to see history over 24 hours is great (if a bit alarming! I never realised my cat went so far away!). I use it mostly on sleep mode (where you just refresh location when you want, it keeps battery longer), but if I see her start to wander I put on smart so I can see her map later on. Battery Life - World fine for my cats to have a 2-3 day battery life, as my cats live to come in for frequent naps when I can charge it, and rarely go away for more than 2 days. If your cat goes away for longer than 3 days, you will run out of battery, but at least you can have a general direction if your cat goes missing. The peace of mind is brilliant! Size and appearance - My cats are VERY tiny, weighing 2.4kg only as full grown adults (and that's them looking chubby!). I have two females, a mother and daughter, who used to be feral so were starving before they came to us, thus their growth was stunted. I was REALLY worried that this would be too big for them or too heavy, their heads and necks are very tiny. I was right to think that it was big in them, it's the size of their heads (about the size of a memory stick) but they didn't seem to notice if care at all! They didn't know it was there even though it looked huge on them, they only noticed it when they tried to clean themselves there and then they nibbled it a bit before giving up. So size wise, any cat is going to be on with this if they can wear a collar without being annoyed. The only complaint I have appearance/practically, is the flashing lights on the tracker. They are necessary for obvious reasons, but the cover the tracker goes into is semi-transparent white. The flashing light goes through the cover, which makes them visible in the dark by blinking lights. I have had to try cover the lights, to help them hide from possible predators (foxes, badgers, dogs etc.), so an opaque version of the cover would be a good option. Durability - I haven't had it too long, so I can't say about durability over time, but I can vouch for the water resistance! We had some really really bad rain (I mean, my garden flooded to shin height bad) and my cat wouldn't come in for a while. Not a problem at all for the tracker! Overall, I am very very happy with my purchase. It is a lot of money, since I've just ordered another one so I have one for each of my cats, and two separate subscriptions per month, but the peace if mind is worth it. It also allows me to set a geofence to Alert me when my cat is coming back home, so I can be ready and waiting for her to let her in to bed at 5am! I will not be using the call function, unless it is to locate the collar if it ever pulls off, because my cats may get very confused as to the direction of home if i was whispering in their ear! I got this because one of my cats disappeared for a while, think she got displaced by another cat, and I am so glad I got it. Wish I got it sooner! Also glad I didn't fall back on the cheaper options, because this really is the best if a bit expensive.

Great tracker but needs recharging everyday.
Ordered a couple of cat trackers to test them out. This one works very well. It’s a bit slow to pick up GPS but when it does it’s great. It’s also really small and light so my cat is very happy to wear it. Love the fact that you can call it as once my cat hears my voice she comes straight home! Only down sides are it it only lasts for a day so I feel like I’m constantly recharging it and it’s not highly accurate but you do get a good generate sense of where the cat has been.

TOP!!!

Was das wiederauffinden stark erleichtert.
