Excellent little brooder for the money.

This brooder is so easy to set up. You can adjust all of the legs, so you can make the front taller than the back to allow for different chick sizes and heat preferences. They love sleeping under it and roosting on top of it. It's easy to clean. Its safe, no injuries to the chicks. It's everything I needed from a brooder plate. Standard 3 pin plug. Been using this for 2 plus weeks on new hatchling. Would absolutely buy this again for another brooder setup.

I can’t think why I’ve never bought on of these before. I’ve hatched eggs for years but not for three years now so when my quail started to hatch I ordered this brooder. It’s brilliant, keeps these tiny chicks warm and cosy. It’s easy to assemble, adjust and simple to use.

Great product, very easy to assemble. Legs come seperate and insert easily, they have a push button release to raise and lower them. Legs have marker numbers on so you can get them even or have one side higher than the other. Nice thick plastic top with a rough type surface. Not the easiest to clean as you can't use too much water. Has ON indicator light. Underside is just the metal plate. Can be used upsidedown to keep sick animals warm which is a great dual purpose. My only criticism is that the underneath edges are not sealed so there are loads of places for mites to hide. I had to turn it over and switch it on to draw out the mites and slowly hand kill them all as they appeared, then I felt happy to store it back in its box. A much more natural way for chicks to be brooded as they feel secure under there and it's dark at night too rather than 24hr lights on. The legs can be raised as chicks grow. Most often my chicks just sat on the top as they were indoors so fairly warm anyway.

I thought this was only a toy when we took it out of the box first. When we plugged it in, we thought the plate got too hot, and it wouldn't work. We were wrong! It works a treat. The chicks love it, and it only runs on a fraction of the power of a bulb. The bulbs were always blowing on us as well, so this seems to be (fingers crossed) running fine for the past few weeks without a problem.

Brilliant! What's not to say about this brooder. My 8 rock chicks loved it from day 1, literally. Reducing the fire risk of ferocious heat lamps this is warm and adaptable easy to clean and a great source of fun when doubled as a jumping frame for the more adventurous chick. Also used as a deck chair for sunning in the afternoon sun through my office window by those chicks of a similar disposition to myself. I recently moved my girls into their omlet cube as the smell was exceeding my delight in having them share my space,worried as they were only six weeks old I fed an extension lead from house through to the poop hole (by blocking off most of the nesting box hole)and Setting up thebrooder in the cube. It gave additional heat at night and was something familiar in their new home. It's now off but as they are only 8 weeks it's there for the odd chilly spring night. But one its so worth it

Easy to set up, easy to raise as the chicks got older and most importantly the chicks were happy using it. Kept 3 of them nice and warm and with that few chicks there was plenty of space, but it's not huge so I'd say the number of chicks it says it can keep warm on the packaging is a bit optimistic! The chicks did like to sit on top of it and made quite a mess but was easy to scrape off. Really can't complain at all.

I've always used heat lamps with the red bulb, the paint wore off my bulb and i thought i would try one of the ceramic heater type things. It worked for one batch and has refused to emit any heat since. The electric brooder hen seemed ideal. I like the idea of chicks not being subjected to 24hr daylight so i thought i would try one of these. I was concerned when i ordered that it would be flimsy plastic. I was delighted to find that it was very sturdy with easily adjustable legs. I installed it and headed off to collect my 15 chicks. They went under the brooder immediately popping out to feed and take a drink as needed. They seem much more relaxed than the chicks next door who have the heat lamp. Really pleased with this. As close to nature as you can get in an artificial situation. It comes with the advantage of only consuming 20w rather than the 100w i usually use. Easily fits 15 chicks and would probably take a further 5. Highly recommend.

An sich ist das Gerät super.. Jedoch soll man beachten, dass es sich um einen US Stecker 3 Polig handelt.. Man braucht also einen EU Stecker Adapter. Der ist nicht im Paket enthalten.

Ceci est ma deuxième commande. Je ne l'ai utilisé que pour une douzaine de poussins à la fois jusqu'à présent. Je les fais fonctionner presque sans arrêt pendant la saison et jusqu'à présent, aucun problème avec l'une ou l'autre machine. Conseillée.

Es genial! Los pollitos estaban encantados, siempre bajo el calentador, crecieron muy bien gracias a que tenían la temperatura correcta y que se pueda regular la medida es lo mejor para cuando van creciendo. Lo recomiendo totalmente!

Tuvimos 11 pavitos en febrero y hacia mucho frio fuera asi que les pusimos en una caja con este calientador. 3 murieron de enfermedad pero 8 salvaron y bien. Estaban muy agusto bajo esto y pasaron muchas horas calentitas. Me parece un diseño bueno porque solo calienta por debajo y en sombra, como la barriga de su mama. Y pisan la parte de arriba como percha cuando esten lo suficiente grande. Me ha gustado (son 2 semanas hasta ahora que esta enchufado sin parar)

Le 2 ème que j'achète super produit simple d'utilisation robuste et surtout faible consommation électrique réglable en hauteur un dans ma grange pour les naissances et l'autre dans mon poulailler
