Rotosound Nickel Medium Gauge Roundwound Bass Strings (40 60 80 100), RB40,White Black Red Blue,Small Medium Large X-Large 2X-Large

I normally use Elites (Players 100 - 40s) but thought would try these strings as the cost was a little cheaper and I wanted to hear if they were comparable in sound. I was happily surprised by the sound (a little brighter than the Elites to my ear) and the feel of the strings. They have a good even tension and amplify well. I cannot speak about the longevity of them as everyone has their own style that will contribute to how long they will last but I will certainly be buying them again at this price. Very Happy!

I like Rotosound strings and rate them highly. Just as good as any other top brands.

Did the job for a beginning bass player. The bright tone won't be right for everyone.

Arrived promptly. Required little or no 'playing-in', and all strings have a nice, rounded tone, without any initial brashness. Time will tell how long this tone will last, but I like them and will be ordering more of the same next time anyway. I play a string through body bass, and the sustain is impressive with these strings. I can't compare them with £20 or £30 offerings as I can't justify that expense, so I can't give them a '5'. At the price I paid (change from £13) you can't lose.

great value for money with great vintage twang

Great quality British product with long heritage. The 40-100 bass strings are bright and easy to play as well as being kind on the fingers. Easy to string. Arrived very quickly and great price.

Bit weird it was bought as a package thing but wrre delivered separately to bass strings but both came an hour apart and both great would recommend

I absolutely love these strings! great quality and such good value. I was using these years ago and paying about £17 for a set then, say 10 years ago. I then switched to Elixir to save some money as they last a lot longer, but now the prices of Elixir strings have increased so much they no longer make as much sense.

Es sind halt bie billigsten Bass-Seiten die es gerade gab... klingen etwas metallisch... wenn man kein Profi ist (wie ich) mag es wohl gehen.
