Alpine Car Radio ilx-700

Installed the ILX into Renault Megane R26, controls work fine, cannot access setting and to turn off demo mode unless the power is connected to the ILX break wire (possibly a safety feature).

Ticked all the boxes for my needs. Works very well with iPhone with texts being read out by Siri while driving is a welcome bonus.

Has started to go mad turning it self changing the volume can’t stop it

I fitted the Alpine ILX-700 into my Fiat Bravo. I have used it now for three months and can say that it is absolutely brilliant. The capacitive touch screen is very responsive, it connects to my iPhone effortlessly and allows for a pleasurable driving experience. I also feel that the unit looks great in the car especially with it’s button-less design. Overall, the head unit also vastly increases the overall audio quality of the car speakers. Definitely would recommend.

+ Great head unit, easy to use, picture quality though rear camera great, Handy to have phone charging in glove box, Siri works really well and phone calls great, Apple play is good, I'm sure it will improve more as updates come through. - no CD player but don't use them anymore. sat nav draw back is It uses Apple maps from your phone so you need a phone signal 3G or 4G to load maps, bit frustrating if you are in the middle of nowhere but then you should alway carry a map, just in case. also if you are abroad you will have to bye EU data on your phone to use maps which I realised in France. still for a decent sat nav included it would cost a lot more and at least they are updated through Apple.

Bought this as I am modifying the dasboard in my MGF, it is not very deep meaning no modifications are needed the structure of the dashboard, it fits perfectly. It is not fitted yet but I have given it a test run and can say together with Apple Car Play and iPhone X it is brilliant.

It's ok. Bought to fit to e46 bmw due to shallow rear fitment. No wireless carplay but does a job.

A priori pas mal du tout le tactile marche bien , mes enceintes crache comme jamais , donc a voir a l emploi en revanche meme pas de cage ou de support fourni avec pour le prix c est inadmissible , meme pas une recommandation pour acheter le kit d insertion pour ma voiture bref j ai du bricoler un truc et ce ne fut pas une mince affaire je vous le dit ca m as pris 6 h avec beaucoup d imagination et d astuce , de la tole , et surtout des outils adapter pour l travailler le fer tel que presse hydraylique , decoupeuse a plasma, disqueuse, perceuse bref une grosse galere mais c est fait j espere que le poste tiendra ses promesses 3 mois dusage plus tard le boutin on/off ( home) n est pas tres fonctionnel et parfois je doit m y reprendre a 2/3 fois pour allumer le poste de plus pour l eteindre 5 seconde a rester appuyer dessus 😂 juste nimpe apres le car play fonctionne mais des que tu mets un gps sur le tel ru ne peu pas avoir la liste de lecture c est l un ou l autre bref des progres a faire a racheter je le prendrais pas et changerais pour un modele plus cher avec le blutooth et une entrée usb pour un clé car la c’est par le telephone en filaire sinon rien

Smart 453 und Ilx 700 geht das? Ja mit etwas Geduld und einer guten Werstatt ist es möglich. Apple Carplay ist echt praktisch. Das kann der Aktuelle Smart ab Werk nicht! was mein serienausgestatteter Smart jetzt alles für Stückchen spiel. Die Alpine Rückfahrkammera hatte der KFZ Techniker natürlich auch gleich eingebaut...

El carplay funciona bien. El panel táctil es bastante sensible y fácil. Y las conexiones se adaptan a cualquier modelo instalado antes. No tiene bluetooth.

ecran bien, mais triste sur l affichage, il n y a pas grand chose. impossible de brancher une clef usb sur la prise usb: on ne peut brancher qu un iphone. Pas d entree hdmi,pas de bluetooth, obliger de brancher l iphone, sinon on a juste acces a la radio fm. Le carplay deconnecte aleatoirement, et impossible a remettre en marche sauf en redemarrant la voiture et lphone. Tres decu par alpine, contact par tel avec le sav Alpine qui n apporte aucune reponse

Schönes Radio, leider nur mit Apple CarPlay Unterstützung! Wem das als Eingang reicht und wer auf den Rest verzichten kann ist hiermit gut bedient! Ich bin auf Abgrund des geringen Funktionsumfang bin ich auf das ilx 702d umgestiegen.
