Any one use this with the Elzetta shotgun mount?

Yes. It slides right into the mount, perfect fit and no need to use any of the adapters. To make it a bit easier, to slide into the mount you can remove the back cap that holds the batteries, slip the 88850 into the mount, and screw the cap back on. Very happy with my Elzetta shotgun mount and Streamlight 88850.

Are the models now being sold the current, 275 lumen/strobe/14 lumen TEN-TAP models, or the older 130 lumen models? Asked 12/21/14.

I have purchased several since Sept 2014 in black and coyote for myself/friends/family. Amazon is selling the current 275 lumen model with the pocket clip. The description still shows the old model, but the model number does accurately reflect the updated model that will be shipped.

Can i take that clip off the flashlight?

Yes, you can take the clip off. It takes some effort to unscrew the top bezel, but it is not glued on. Then you have to remove the O-ring, which also takes a bit of effort because it is very tight. Once you've done that, just unscrew the clip the same way you unscrewed the bezel, replace the O-ring, and screw the top back on. Mine is also barcoded 80926 88850.

Has anybody used this light as a weapon light on a 12 guage shotgun? Can it hold up to the recoil?

This light is STOUT. It WILL hold up to 12ga recoil....and .50 Beowulf
