Best camping purchase in a long time!
Awesome tent! For the price, I don't think you can beat this. I bought this to share with my girlfriend on a camping trip. It's for three people, but if you have gear, you want extra room.Pros:I just love this tent!If you stake it right to the ground, I don't think any reasonable wind could blow it over. I did a crappy job the first night and it still stayed up in some pretty strong wind.VERY easy to set up. Fast as well. One really great feature I noticed is how they left room for more gear between the inner tent and outer cover. I also lit a mosquito repellent stick (one of those slightly smoking non toxic things) under the outer cover on the entrance and it kept all the bugs out. I doubt they recommend that, but it was a safe way to keep the bugs out yet get some more air flow. Just be careful to not knock it over onto any part of the tent. I'm sure it would melt a hole in it (as would any tent). It smelled nice inside the tent then too lol.I was surprised that it stayed fairly warm inside even when 6C outside at night. I measured it to be about 4C warmer inside just with body heat even in strong wind. That can be a big differenceI think it is very water proof. I'd still put a tarp under it to protect the bottom of the tent against sharp rocks etc, but it seems to keep the water out pretty well!Cons:One problem is though that it gets hot inside if the sun is beating on it.The included stakes, though nicely shaped are a bit easy to bend when you have fists of ham like me beating on them with a rock into hard ground. One strap on the bottom of the tent had a sewing defect. But that was about a 5 minute repair with a needle and thread.Someday I'll come back to report how it holds up.

Good quality for a great price
This tent is really easy to put up - even on the first attempt it was fully pitched in about 10 minutes. The inner can be fully unclipped from the outer so it is possible to put both up together or (in case of bad weather) quickly pitch the outer and then hang the inner from inside the tent. The design is great: keeps the wind out and during heavy rainfall, the tent remained dry and comfortable inside. It is really lightweight and easy to carry around and I had no difficulty in fitting it back in to the bag after use.Space-wise: good height as easy to sit up in; long enough for storage of bags at either the head or feet of the users. I think there would be plenty of room for 3 people although I guess you'd have to be pretty tidy!Would recommend for anyone who is an occasional camper as it is really lightweight, compact to store and is easy to pitch and strike camp.

Excellent value , very spacious, easy to set up, a tad heavy and not the most compact
This tent is excellent value at £70 , a really good sturdy tent , that is very spacious and easy to set up.This Coleman cobra 3 man tent is a good choice for people on a budget that want an excellent quality, well made waterproof tent , it's 3000hh so fully waterproof with two strong aluminium poles. The tent is cavernous inside for one man and his gear, an ideal choice for two people or maybe one man and his dog.The tent is very easy to set up and very sturdy in Windy conditions up on the hills , bit could be used as a festival tent or for campsite camping. The packsize isn't the smallest though , it's quite large when packed away so will take up space in your backpack, it's also 3.2kg in weight and not 2.9kg as stated. The colours of blue and grey are not the best for wild camping but it's still a smart looking tent and really well made.It would make an excellent beginner tent for people on a budget looking to try the hobby of wild camping. It's not the most lightweight for backpacking and its not the most compact when in its bag , but when set up this tent is large and spacious, very sturdy and waterproof.Excellent value for £70 an absolute bargain 🏕

Good tent, not perfect but very good
I've had this tent on a number of camps now and I'm very happy with my purchase. First, the good things..It pitches really easily and can be taken down and packed away just as easily. It has massive amount of space, this is the mansion of 3 man tents. It completely protects from the wind and rain. The inner mesh does a great job at keeping the bugs at bay.The twin doors are perfect with two large vestibules which will easily hold all your gear. This tent is warm so I'm looking forward to pitching it in colder weather to see how I get on.Now the down side:The vents don't really work allowing condensation to build up. I've found myself having to leave the fly open a shade to allow more airflow. Because of the distance between the inner and outer, I have to say that the condensation didn't affect my comfort. Myself and contents stayed dry at all times. Suppose nearly all tents have condensation issues and this isn't bad by any means. The tent pegs are super light but also super small. Perfect if pitching on grass but useless in a forest where the ground is much softer. I had to use my very large groundhog pegs. Now my biggest gripe, the zips, outer zips to be precise! When pitched correctly, there is too much tension on the fly sheet to zip the doors. And the zips tend to snag on the seam. You can sort this by adjusting the main pole and slacking off the guy ropes but it's a pain in the butt. On my last outing one zip snagged causing me to have to use the other door to unsnag it from the outside. So, all in all, a really good tent, not great, but really good. If you want a better tent, it's gonna cost you a lot more money than you'll pay for this.

Great tent, would recommend.
Firstly, it's small, light and compact when packed away. Once set up (easy to do) there's a lot of space inside lengthways so items can go at the top/bottom. The two side entrances are practical and there's a sizable area between the inner and out where large rucksacks can go (face down with the waterproof covers on though as there's no groundsheet in this space). The quality of the tent seems very high. The poles seem strong too which is nice (this tent is a replacement for another tent which didn't survive!) It also has handy pockets inside. I used it on a two day camping wild-camping trip in the Lake District and it stood the test in some pretty strong wind and heavy rain. One thing to note: I used it as a two man and it was very spacious, but it would obviously be more cosy (and warm!) with three. We opted for the three man version because it's only 900 grams heavier than the two man but when used for two it is spacious and the space outside for bags is very useful.Overall, I'd recommend this tent and I've been very pleased with it for: its space (I'm tall!), side space for bags, ease of setting up, how compact and light it is when packed away.

Brilliant tent, perfect for bike touring in Ireland.
Great tent, easily spacious for 2 people with lots of bags. Quick to assemble, roughly 8-10 minutes when you have the hang of it, very sturdy. Totally waterproof in some very heavy rain all night. Camping on forest floor with spiky dead leaves had me worried my air mattress would pop as I could feel the spikes through the floor, but nothing bad in end. Weighs 3.3kg, isn't much bigger than a cheap 2 man when rolled up, clever design all round. Very happy for this price especially!

Coleman Cobra 3 - Superb , strong and reliable tent.
I bought this tent for my cycle touring, very glad i did!. I tested the tent in very adverse weather, rain and wind was persistent all night, the tent stood up to the wind extremely well and not a drop of water got in. Having searched online for a tent of this spec, nothing comes near it given the great price i paid. I purchased the three man for the additional space as i like my gear to be inside the tent where i can access my paniers without having to open the door, however the space between the flysheet and the internal doors is generous and is great for muddy footware. Like most of the reviews written here, i cannot see how you will accommodate three people comfortably, for the slight additional weight i would recommend the three man.I like the fact that Coleman have thought about the realistic length and height of the tent, this makes the enviroment feel less claustophobic should you have to spend more time in the tent that is necessary e.g the weather! So there`s the best bits , just a few negs- I had to remove all the guy rope tentioners and refit them as they were fitted upside down !. The exterior door zips are very tight which can be a slight problem particularly when you want to close it from the inside, don`t let this put you off buying the tent as i think it may improve with use. So go ahead and buy with confidence, highly recommended.

Fantastic buy!
In the market for my first tent, I was getting overwhelmed by all the choices on Amazon, so I chose to go with the brand name I knew and some solid reviews to back it up. I have to say, this tent was everything I wanted and more!It is so incredibly lightweight and compact, was a breeze to set-up, has all the perfect pockets and vents to make it comfortable, and is incredibly roomy. Most of the reviews say that it can't fit 3 people, but I slept in it with my friend who is 6'2" and we had more than enough space for us and our bags, and absolutely could have fit one more.Definitely waterproof, it poured during the night and I was dry and comfortable.Couldn't recommend more!
