Well where to begin, For less than £2 I wasn't expecting much as the other reviews highlight that these tools are not the best, which they aren't but for they're purpose they are great. They are more of a one time or possibly two time use set which I have found do a very good job. These tools have generic iPhone/iPod tools such as the Phillips and flat-head screwdriver which aren't tailored to fit a specific iPhone so all of those complaining "it does not fit my iPhone 4 even though it says it does" are being very ignorant, as it is not DESIGNED specifically to fit your iPhone but generally all iPhones/iPods. However, The Phillips works fine on my iPhone 4 and the pentalobe star screwdriver works as well (which is probably what people are not using when they should be!) the kit for the price is the best around and I would recommend that anyone with some time and patience could easily put these to good use. Overall well done, fast delivery, good product, Would buy again.

This is probably a set of tools you only need once for a couple of hours, after that they will probably end up in the back of a drawer. I needed the pentalbobe screwdriver to enable me to change the battery on an iPhone 4. This kit has such a screwdriver and it worked well. It is made out of low grade materials and I wouldn't want to put stress on any of the parts of the kit, but for one-off use this is perfectly adequate and at that price (£1.99) how can you possibly complain. The blue plastic prising tools however both broke when it came to levering the battery out of the iPhone case. They are very flimsy and just couldn't cope with the rather strong glue Apple had used to secure the battery. - it wasn't a big surprise really and I used the triangular "lifters" (the ones that look like a guitarists plectrum) to complete the job. No reservations about recommending this kit - just remember that for this sort of money you are not going to get a machine tooled piece of equipment.

Got the tools. Watched it on "youtube" Opened my "iPad", Fitted my new battery, Tested it "Job Done" Re fitted the screen, I then Drained the battery to re-charge it so i could use it for work again, Plugged it in, and left it on the bay window shelf to charge. My dog chased my cat who jumped on the shelf knocked off my "iPad" and cracked the screen I have now ordered a new screen and have to open it again. So glad I got the tools !!.

Very reasonably priced but sadly the back of my Ipod just refused to budge and I managed to break all the plastic wedges trying to get the back off. I think Apple superglued the back on my Ipod. I have given up after trying to remove the back using all manner of tools some not plastic which were simply breaking. I have removed the back from my other Ipod quite successfully using similar plastic products so perhaps the product is okay it was just my exceptionally well stuck Ipod. However to give a fair review I have to say for a well stuck together Ipod, these were just not up to the job. Perhaps metal tools would be better.

I'm an electronics engineer by trade so was looking forward to fixing my iPhone 4 home button. Ordered this kit as it stated that it had all the watchmakers screwdrivers and accessories I'd need, and ordered the replacement home button. Everything started OK, and the two 3.6 mm Pentalobe were removed with ease by using the tool provided in the kit. However the 2.5 mm phillips screwdriver was slightly too big to remove the slot head screws inside, resulting in it rounding these very fine screws. In the end I aborted the repair as I was concerned that I would damage the screws to the point that they would be completely immovable. Where is the quality control? Disappointing - anyone want to buy the home button?.

I bought this tool kit after my partner smashed his iPhone and wanted to then take it apart. I thought that because it is quite cheap, it would not be of great quality, but it didn't matter as we were only mucking around. Wrong. This tool kit is fantastic and comes with loads of little gadgets that are very handy for even some other phones (I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and have used a couple of the tools to remove my stubborn sim card). This is a must have for iPhone owners.

I bought this in order to replace a rear facing camera on an iPhone 5. it worked although I had to use the metal screwdriver instead of the plastic tools to lift the glass screen. The plastic tools are cheaply made but even so they are perfect for gently lifting up (and replacing) the ribbon connectors inside the phone. It's worth the price for the little screwdrivers alone and I'd recommend this as a cheap way to get into one or two smartphones. Any more than that, look at purchasing something more robust.

OK, my mistake. A few years ago when I replaced the battery on my Kindle, they sent a natty tool to open the back. Anyway, I thought that it would be of no further use so I threw it away. Now when I want to replace the battery on my Nexus, I've two alternatives, a £15 fee to my local repair shop for a 5 minute job or to obtain the necessary tools. . Let me think.... The tools are fine for the purpose I needed (indeed, I did not need everything in the kit) and this is a cost effective solution. What you have to bear in mind is that the cost of the tool set is low and you are not going to get professional level tools for the price. However, for occasional use, they are more than suitable and I will save them. If you need to repair phones and tablets daily as part of your living, then you will probably need better quality. All in all, good value for money

Those are good tools to open any PC to fix the heat issue, etc. It makes very easier to open the case without breaking the notches on the case. Also those tools are very good price, thank you!!!

Todo correcto. Sirve para su cometido . Aunque el plástico se ve un poco endeble, pero hace la función por lo que lo pedí.

...wurde erfolgreich von Staub befreit. Das Werkzeug hat seinen Dienst geleistet, ist auch noch ganz, langlebig wird es aber glaube ich nicht sein. Für den Preis aber absolut in Ordnung.

If you're looking to repair an iPhone 4 or iPhone 5, this kit is cheap and will get the job done. The suction cup isn't extremely powerful and I had a little bit of trouble lifting the screen up using it (needed to use a razor blade to get it the rest of the way up), but the screwdrivers are pretty sturdy and the spudgers work fine but can quickly break if you're not patient.
