Very good flux for BGA rework: - excellent for removing large BGA chips - excellent for re-attaching large BGA chips - although it is a no clean flux , to make the board looking good this flux is not the easiest to clean however not the worse - good for day to day smaller components re-work

Nice quality soldering flux paste in a easy to use splunger dispenser. The metal nozzle is a good size and lenght which aids in applying the right amount of flux. 8341 is a no-clean, halogen-free flux with non-conductive, non-tacky, and non-tacky residues, ideal for touch-ups and reworks, so does not require cleaning after use, (but i always clean after soldwriing with IPA regardless). Works well with both leaded and lead free solders. I would recommend and purchase again.

I've been using this MG Chemicals 8341 paste for electronics repair and hobby projects, and overall, it’s a brilliant product. It's truly a no-clean formula; the residues are minimal and don't need scrubbing off, which saves loads of time. It really does an excellent job of promoting good solder flow, especially on tricky, small surface-mount components, making the job much cleaner than trying to use a liquid flux pen. My only slight niggle is the consistency; it’s a tiny bit runnier than other pastes I’ve used, so you have to be careful not to push too much out of the syringe at once, otherwise it can get a bit mucky on the board. But for the price and the results it gives, especially on old or oxidised pads, it's definitely a top-tier performer in my kit.

The Best Flux Gel I have ever purchased. Not sure about the 'no clean' because it does leave a mess all over the pcb. Will buy more when mine runs out. Great for 0.5mm pin pitch chips.

MG Chemicals 8341 No Clean Flux Paste, Good flux, you get a good amount which will last in my case. The flux melted quickly and effortlessly. I would say with this stuff the consistence is good you have to push extremely hard in order to get the stuff out. This as most flux does leave behind a vapor so if new best make sure you use this in a well ventilated room. Overall its good quality flux, says no clean buts it always wise to clean up after using as it take a mere for mins.

Little goes a long way, it's no clean but it leaves to much of a sticky residue so best to clean up after soldering.

To be fair, this is my first experience with using flux paste. Previously I've relied on just flux-cored solders for through-hole work and more lately, liquid brush-on flux. I'd expectations of something that would flow easily from the syringe, but without excessive spread thereafter. In reality, as others have noted in their reviews, this is about as thick as it could be and still make it out of any reasonable size syringe needle. And it seems somewhat grainy too. I think the nail in the coffin for it as far as I am concerned is that once out of the needle, it doesn't adhere well to either pins or PCB tracks - it's far more interested in sticking to itself and the needle tip, and making a mess in the process. I thought this would make repairing and reworking through-hole boards faster but the reverse is true, and I'll either revert to liquid flux, or seek a less viscous gel/paste. On a positive note, it is noticeably less tacky and easier to clean using IPA-based solvents than simple rosin-based fluxes.

I have wasted so much money trying all sorts of flux but I am extremely happy with this. When it arrived in the tub it was a bit solid, but a few stirs with a wooden stick got it into a nice sticky paste. My method is to dab a paint brush in it and then apply it where needed. Makes the solder flow very well. A bit pricey, but all flux is, and I love this stuff - will be ordering more.

Having had no experience soldering and also having no idea how to do it, I must say that a few hours on YouTube and a few solders later I am competent at soldering now. Yes it took a few tries but this no clean flux is absolutely great. With this new skill I was actually able to save quite a bit of money. The motherboard on my fridge had a resistor burn out and I was able to replace a $3 resistor over a $3500 fridge. Worth its weight in gold? I would say so (gold prices are climbing lol)

This product is absolutely amazing not too much comes out when you're using it the size is disturbingly amazing for as little of a bottle as it is it does a lot and goes a long way there is no odor to it it's easy to clean up with a little alcohol is precise and the locations that you put it in and how hard you squeeze it doesn't allow you with the rubber stopper to pour out too much this is just a superb product
