Biona Organic Cranberry Juice, 750ml

Very good product, highly recommend

In my estimation the best product for UTI's or UTI prevention after antibiotics because no sugar (which feeds UTI's) or other irritating ingredients included. So the cranberries can get to work coating the bladder and preventing infection from sticking. The taste is sharp, which I like, the health benefits are tastable!!

Got my first UTI (blood, pain, urgency). Everyone told me to take antibiotics. When I finally got through to the GP, he told me I could end up with kidney problems if I don’t take the medication. As I couldn’t get to the pharmacy until 2 days I quickly got this juice, Ocean Spray cranberry drink and cranberry tablets (if you look at my other reviews you see which ones). Started to take this the next day. Took about 5-6 tablets a day, plus a carton of juice (which is mostly sugar, but at this point I didn’t care) and a glass of the Biona juice. In 3 days I had no symptoms! The juice is tart and strong, but if you mix it with shop bought cranberry drink then it is very drinkable. When reading medical papers online, they all emphasise that research is inconclusive on cranberry and UTIs and don’t really promote it as a cure. More like complimentary to antibiotics. Reading other women’s experiences, I don’t think my case was a miracle! I am so happy I didn’t have to take antibiotics which would have ruined my gut microbiome again and maybe made the UTI chronic.

Refreshing, but price on the high side

Biona products are truly some of the best, you can literally taste the difference with their organic origins. Use a variety of their products regularly and they are perfect quality and never disappoint.

This is my second purchase and I am still struggling with a urine infection. I am on my second lot of antibiotics too. The only reason I am still drinking this is because it is the pure cranberry juice without any sugars unlike what you buy from the shop. The taste is fine but i dilute it with warm water to take away the tangy taste. I don't want to give a review to suggest that it's effective in helping to treat my urine infection because I honestly can't tell but I think its better to drink the real stuff rather than buy those with added sugar. Delivery was excellent and the product is good. The only reason for 3 star is that I don't know if it's working at all as I said its 2nd week of urine infection antibiotics as well as cranberry juice.

Buy this every2 weeks to help with a fatty liver..

I use this well beyond the five days essentially I just keep going until the bottle is empty which can take weeks, making it much more cost effective. I basically treat this stuff like a squash, putting a small amount in a glass and sweetening with liquid stevia drops before adding water. I was drinking regular cranberry juice and also taking D Mannose every day which essentially stopped my regular infections. I bought this as a more eco friendly alternative but discovered that I can not only reduce harm to the planet drinking this stuff but I also no longer need to take D Mannose. It’s clearly got a much higher concentration of the active compound in it as a more pure formulation. Very potent I think. Definite win here.

Perhaps has similar a flavor profile as Lakewood Organic Cranberry juice (not from concentrate), albeit more costly. The Biona Organic Cranberry juice is definitely richer and has more complexity, e.g., more astringency and tart 'punch', than Knudsen Organic Cranberry juice (from concentrate). Unfortunately the country of origin is missing from the label; all it specifies is 'non-EU product', which suggests it is from the U.S. In that case, it is surely not worth the premium price over domestically available U.S.-grown organic cranberry juice (either Lakewood or Knudsen brands).
