What is the best before date on this item and also is it suitable for vegetarians as marshmellows usually contain animal gelatine?

The only animal content is egg whites. The best before date is approx. 6 - 8 months after you receive it. I have used it beyond the best before date and it has always been perfect. I grew up in the city where it's made, right around the corner from the factory. When we were very young, the guys working there used to throw us jars on the loading dock. I highly recommend it.

Can you use it for cupcake icing.

I used to try to ice a birthday cake to look like clouds...It didn't work. The fluff, while delicious, doesn't hold a fluffy shape and kind of melts down too a gloop. It still tasted nice though with cake so make used more like a fondant sitting on top cupcake as a layer within the paper case but definitely cannot be piped into a swirl on top.

This stuff is delicious! Great value for money at 4 tubs for less than £9. Perfect for eating off a spoon when you're on a diet and really should not be eating marshmallow fluff off a spoon.

Original marshmallow fluff

Lovely. Rotter in house of 6 nabbed the lot. I did get 1 sarnie and definitely tasted of marshmallows. It's white and easier to eat with spoon so I'm told by my youngest 22yr old. My youngest grandaughter got some and really liked it.

Something for the Grand kids

My grandchildren love this, with one exception, the rest of the family find it rather too sweet. The exception being fluff and peanut butter sandwiches as recommended on the jar. My granddaughter has recently 'discovered' baking and finds fluff an indispensable topping for her cup cakes.
