After struggling to light a chimney full of Heat Beads and wasting 8 ( normally use 2 but I think the briquettes were damp)lighter cubes to finally get it going plus the extra time involved I decided to buy this and boy does it work using briquettes from the same bag 3 lighter cubes (the instructions say 4) the chimney was glowing within 7 minutes and ready to use. The next time full chimney using Weber briquettes + 2 lighter cubes and again 7-8 minutes coals ready to use. I’m using the Padamo quick chimney but I think most chimneys would fit on the booster the Weber chimney definitely does. Is it worth the money in my opinion YES it’s easy to use, it’s works and you can start your charcoal BBQing in almost the same time as you would using gas. Jobs a Goodun !

Great help to get barbecue going quickly. The only problem is that the batteries do not last for long. We intend to try it using rechargeable batteries.

great idea and all over the weber forum , with great reviews . so I GOT ONE , But read carefully this dose not come with a power adaptor only the battery option . So where do you get the power adaptor ???

Great product, but be aware keep away from wooden decking or anything flammable, this spits out hot fine coals, very smoky for the first 1-3 minutes, but dose the job as advertise, BBQ-ing now all year round.
