I don’t often review my purchases but this product is so good I just have to recommend it to anyone needing a good hand cream. It’s a no nonsense product that really works. There is no fancy scent which I like as too much perfume rubs off on anything you touch normally. It looks like petroleum jelly but sinks beautifully into the skin and a little goes a long way. I get very dry hands and have tried very expensive to very cheap hand creams but this one is by far the best I’ve ever used and the price is exceptional. Highly recommend as it definitely does what it claims.

I have very sensitive skin. I've recently started suffering with thickened, cracked, dry irritated skin on the inside palms and fingers of my hands. Over the last few months they have got into quite a state. I tried Neutrogena's Norwegian Formula Hand Cream Concentrated Unscented 75 ml (vs two other brands). I found the Neutrogena to be the most effective to improve my hands. there was quite a dramatic improvement in my skin shortly after I started using it. It stung a little on the damaged skin areas for the first few minutes after application. It didn't seem to be greasy, and I was able to grip things again after a few minutes. The other big thing was how long it seems to protect my hands. It really does last for hours. There was virtually no smell, and other than the stinging on sore skin for the first few minutes, caused me no irritation. I rate this the best hand moisturiser I've tried. Before I tried the Neutrogena, I also tried the CeraVe Reparative hand cream. I found the CeraVe moisturised my hands and stopped them cracking, and helped restore them slightly, but each application didn't last very long. It left a slightly greasy, perhaps better described as, slippery feeling after use. So no good if you want to drive a vehicle after application etc. There was no smell, and it didn't irritate my skin. So I rated it OK. I also tried Vaseline Intensive Care Advanced Repair Hand Cream, fragrance free, 75ml, but found this irritated my skin on the backs of my hands and wrists after a few hours. Despite Vaseline's claim it's fragrance free, I could smell a perfume upon application. I had to discontinue my test because of the skin irritation.

Brilliant handcream, particularly the unscented, as I react to most hand creams, but not this one.

I love this product and have been using it for years now. I struggle with dry hands, especially in the winter or if I've done a lot of cleaning/ washing etc. They get incredible itchy and nothing will sooth them, this used to lead to sleepless nights and the skin on my hands splitting and getting really sore. I'm not great at using handcream religiously to prevent this (which I'm sure it would do). However, the second I get a flare up and get to that horrible itchy stage, just a tiny bit of this cream soothes in seconds and clears the issue up with just a few uses. Same effect if Ive let them get to the split stage and it doesn't sting the cuts at all. (I'm a bit hopeless, I know - I'll put some on later yadayada. But wanted to give an honest review of just how well it actually works when you have really dry, sore, itchy hands!) You only need a small amount, it sinks in really quickly - a minute or so. It doesn't leave your hands slimy, sticky or greasy either. It hydrates but leaves your hands touch dry. Such an affordable price too, I've tried so many different and some more expensive hand creams prior to finding this one. It is hands down (no pun intended) the best handcream!

Great cream what a difference after only a few applications

I have tried using a lot of different hand creams over the years as in winter I tend to get very dry hands. My Mum had some at her house a couple of years ago and I tried some and haven't looked back! As we are all washing our hands a lot I've found my knuckles and between my fingers have been getting dry, cracked and sore and this has done the job to make the skin smooth, soft and non-greasy. It's difficult to find a hand cream that does this - some are greasy or sting when you put them on and still leave your hands dry afterwards. I've tried body butters, E45, hand creams, lotions and I can wholeheartedly recommend this. I can see in other reviews that people have found it to be sticky - what I would advise is that this is very concentrated and quite paste-like rather than creamy so if you put a lot on it will take longer to absorb. It's worth trying out a few different amounts to use on your hands to see how much you need. Once you get used to it it's a gem, I have some in my bag and by my bed, if your hands are really dry I recommend putting a bit more on at night before you sleep and using cotton gloves to let it absorb, this has really helped me to sort out my cracked hands in winter! It works well as a balm for super chapped lips in a pinch as well. If your hands are dry during the day then be sparing with the amount you use and give it a minute or two before touching things - I find I can touch my keyboard after this and my hands aren't greasy or sticky at all. Hope this helps and if you're not sure whether to try it, go for it - it's great value and well worth a try.

Ein wahres Wundermittel für geschundene Hände! Die Neutrogena Norwegische Formel Handcreme ist mein absoluter Retter in der Not. Im täglichen Kundenkontakt wasche ich meine Hände unzählige Male, was sie extrem austrocknet und rissig macht. Diese Handcreme hat mein Leben verändert - ein kleiner Tropfen reicht wirklich aus und zieht schnell ein, ohne fettige Rückstände zu hinterlassen. Die Haut fühlt sich sofort besser an und der Effekt hält tatsächlich den ganzen Tag! Der dezente Duft ist angenehm und nicht aufdringlich, fast schon eher neutral. Die kleine Tube passt perfekt in jede Handtasche und hält erstaunlich lange. Nach zwei Wochen täglicher Anwendung sind meine vorher extrem trockenen und rissigen Hände kaum wiederzuerkennen - weich, geschmeidig und endlich ohne schmerzhafte Risse. Für diesen Preis ein absolutes Must-have für alle mit beanspruchten Händen.

Cette crème m'a été recommandée par ma mère puisque nous partageons des caractéristiques cutanées similaires. Nous avons tous deux la peau sèche, et nous sommes souvent en cuisine, pour ne pas arranger notre situation. J'ai commandé un lot de crème en hiver, période pendant laquelle l'hydratation des mains est plus difficile. Je n'ai plus mal aux mains, et la crème ne laisse pas un film gras, contrairement à beaucoup dans cette même gamme de prix. Ma mère et moi adoptons la même stratégie : une couche importante en soirée, quand toutes les activités sont terminées (avant d'aller coucher, par exemple), et une couche plus mince après la toilette matinale, juste avant de partir travailler. En mi-saison, l'utilisation est moins importante, mais toujours quotidienne. Nous sommes contents d'observer qu'un tube peut durer plus de 6 mois sans aucun problème. L'odeur est discrète, et la texture de la peau est toujours velouté. Pour ma part, ma peau ne tiraille plus. Points forts : - Un tube peut durer 6 mois avec une utilisation correcte ; - La crème a une texture non grasse et ne laisse pas un film gras ou collant ; - L'odeur est discrète, pas vraiment genrée (pour les personnes craignant une odeur "féminine" ou trop présente, ce n'est pas le cas) - En hiver comme en mi-saison, cette crème est une amie des peaux mixtes à sèches. Points faibles : - J'aimerais une version "capuchon à clips" plutôt qu'à vis, mais c'est vraiment pas gênant. Nous utilisons cette crème régulièrement depuis trois ans, nous en sommes très satisfaits.
