Psychi Climbing Tape with Metal Storage Tin

Amazing. torn multiple ligaments in my foot- toes and metatarsal bonenfracture. The tape saved my life and helped immensely with recovery and support. Well familiar with kinesiology / sport tape but this tape gave that additional support with less movement yet allowing me to walk and later run with this tape again while ligaments are still sensitive. I know don’t run then but after 3 months it is slow progress with great support. Good for wet conditions and really stick well while coming off without the excess glue some sporty tape leaves. I will now always have this in my running and emergency kit. Great stuff!

I had bought the Pack of 3 of different sizes, and it's worked out really well! I had wanted the slimmest one to cover a flapper to be able to continue climbing, but thought perhaps there'll be times when I want to use the other, thicker tapes. I'm glad I did, because the thickest one has been great for restricting movement of my currently injured wrist and supporting it. For that purpose, it had stuck really well and had just enough stretch to make it comfortable, but not so much it was loose and pointless as a support. When it came to the flapper, it was fine taping, but did end up starting to slide up my finger slightly, but stayed on as I kept pushing it back down. I'd give the tape the benefit of the doubt, as my poor taping skills had maybe caused it; it was on the top joint of my middle finger, although I had criss-crossed it. Aside from actually using the tape, I love the fact that they come in tins, meaning they don't get dirty, particularly things like having chalk coat the edge of the adhesive parts. They're easy to open, and the tape fits snugly. The texture of the tape just blends into my natural skin, so I don't feel any particular "slippy spots" when climbing either. Tearing the slimmer two was no problem, but I had to have my older brother tear the thickest one, as I wasn't strong enough. All in all, it's decent tape, and I would put down the slipping more to my poor technique at the time I used it, as another climber pointed out how to improve it afterwards.

This tape is perfect for protecting fingers during long climbing sessions. The zinc oxide adhesive is strong enough to stay put even on sweaty hands, yet it removes without leaving sticky residue. It’s easy to tear to size, sticks well over knuckles, and provides just the right amount of support without restricting movement. Durable, reliable, and a staple in my climbing bag. It could benefit from a easier way to rip the tape off, but that may jeopardise the stickiness.

Good tape this, does rip ok with just your fingers so no need for scissors. Handy little tin too so it keeps the tape clean if it's generally in the bottom of your rucksack! Would recommend 👍

Good quality - lasted well enough and saved our amateur soft hands for the 'Great River Race' - 21.6miles rowing down the Thames. Adhesion loosened after while but as expected after water / sweat on the hand wrap.

Like that it comes with a case as stops the tape getting dirty. One of the best tapes I've had in terms of stick performance. Although can lose some adhesion after long use with chalk.
