Little Tikes Rocking Horse

Bought this for my 8 month old as she's a good height for her age and it's fine for her, if a tiny bit on the big side. Manufacturer recommended age is 12 months though, so completely as described. She got so excited when I took it out of the box and put her straight on it. She'll be rocking away on it in no time, I'm sure. Good, sturdy, single piece hollow plastic, robust, and even though it's a very simple horse shape it's still cute, particularly in pink. Item arrived very quickly. Very happy with the purchase. This toy is for fun, not education, hence only 2 stars for that category but that is in no way a complaint.

I liked the fact that I could leave it outside and not have to worry about it. Our grandchild loves it, but knew she would as they have one at the toddler group she goes to. The only thing I can say about it, and perhaps it is because our grandchild is a bit boisterous, but when you really rock it is can tip back. If you just rock on it normally it is fine. But if you really rock it aggressively that is when it happens. So we just have to watch her when she starts to really rock on it, and we have no problem with that. Love the colour too.

I received this item really well packaged and it arrived very quickly. This was bought for my granddaughter’s 1st Birthday and she loved it! The seat is a good height, not too far from the floor if she does fall off, but with the back support and sturdy handles, I think that’s unlikely. She’ll soon be able to pull herself onto it by herself but in the meantime, she’s very happy to be put onto it and she’s off like a jockey! A great purchase, and will be well loved!

I swayed a bit about buying this as my wee girl (18 months) has so many toys but as soon as it arrived she was all over it (and the box it came in..). Really glad I bought it as she’s very happy with it. I think I got it on sale as I paid £20 which I feel is a fair price and probably wouldn’t have spent more than this. Would recommend for inside or outside use.

Well it’s large ! It lacks a bit in finesse- the seat is square- edged and doesn’t look terribly comfy. My baby is 15 months and tall and slim, so perhaps once he’s a bit bigger that problem will disappear but at the mo his little legs suffer the edges digging in a bit .One problem is that my baby keeps putting his feet either side of the horse ( so they’re resting on the carpet) not on the actual plastic rim. As the horse rocks up and down, the sharp edges are at risk of trapping his little toes , because the horse tends to walk across the carpet as it rocks. I have to keep stopping it to reposition his feet , but due to the crude seat design , baby keeps moving his feet back into the danger zone.Crude though the design is, it's very robust- my energetic 9 year old can charge around on it no worries. I think he enjoys it more than baby !I forgave the poor design due to the low price. Probably wouldn’t buy another one if it cantered away though.

I always wanted to get my daughter a rocking horse but there so expensive and i just don't have the room this however is great just leave it out in the graden, my daughter loves going on it, and is a great 1st birthday present!she got it for her 1st birthday and i think it will last a while.I would definately recommend it and am currently pregnant with a little boy very tempted to get him something similar in blue as my daughter loves it so much!
