After I finished my review I thought "that's a lot to say about belts." Here it is anyway. Also, this is an unsolicited review from an ordinary purchaser. I'm a little OCD about being thorough. I received my black & tan belts before the promised delivery date. They look exactly like the pictures. I've only used the black one so far because the tan was for my work khakis & my 1-man service business has been closed since the Covid-19 isolation. The belts are identical except for color. The webbing part is substantial and the lead end is trimmed & sealed well. Most of the time I have pouches for a flashlight, a multi-tool, & a cell phone on my belt. Often I clip a measuring tape & a drill hook on my belt & that can quickly ruin some belts. This belt looks & feels like wear & tear will be minimal. The plastic buckle holds well & also appears to be made of quality material. Time & usage will tell. Hey, it's plastic. I'm realistic in my expectations. When the belts arrived I thought one was missing. I opened the small drawstring bag to find both belts rolled tightly together. Kudos for minimal packaging. The only small negative is on me. Even though the pictures are entirely accurate, when I saw the belts in person, I wished (just a little) I had ordered a plain-texture style. Even so, I'm really pleased with the product and at the price I paid, they're a great value. Please note: I am not endorsing this belt for situations where safety depends on it because there is no documentation of testing or meeting spec's for such use. It's on the purchaser decide &/or test for that.

These belts are the best for the purposes I needed them for. I wanted a lightweight small buckle belt for backpacking and wearing light clothes going through strip search happy TSA so I don't have to undress and my knickers falling to my ankles trying to keep the line moving. These are the belts I wear when wearing synthetic clothes for summer wear. They won't disappoint.

Pros: price point - can't beat this price; The strap is high quality - There doesn't seem to be much worry about fraying and the latch works effectively. You can easily resize the belt; These are for everyday wear No metal buckle means you can easily go through a metal detector. This is a win for older folks, disabled folks, or even security personnel. For nurses, this may be beneficial if working near an MRI. Cons: the buckle - I'm not a fan of the size. I think if the buckle were longer, I wouldn't mind that it's plastic. A longer buckle, one that takes up a little more space on the belt, would be preferable in the styling and allow for a stylish look. Also, the buckle isn't metal (lol) - the plastic makes noise when releasing the belt, or removing the belt. A metal buckle would make a noise as well and is generally, an acceptable noise LOL. The plastic buckle makes me feel cheap and that's not something I wanted. This is clearly a personal issue These aren't fashionable, or professional looking, in any way. Conclusion: these are strong, durable straps with a plastic latch that allows for it to be a belt. If that's all you need then, here you go. That's why I bought them. You can use it to hold and carry items if you want to and this would be effective. If you want a good looking belt, by something else.

So far these belts are great. Easy to use and adjust. Holds pants up very well. I’m a size 36 and I didn’t have to cut any excess belt off. It fit perfect. The second belt the buckle was installed wrong so it wouldn’t hold on to the end of the belt. Belt slipped out of the buckle. I had to use the other belt to copy for reference and installed the buckle correctly.

A year latter, and I'm wearing the belt right now! Inexpensive, good-looking, and super functional! I got Grey and Tan combo pack and it works with everything!

These are nice belts, but they have nothing to do with the Outdoors, the Military, or Tactical warfare. They should probably cost less. It seems like I always have to order some in colors I don't want to get the ones in colors that I do want. Why not just offer all of the colors and widths individually? And why not all the standard lengths? I just want a belt, not a project with scissors and a flame to trim it to length. These come in a fancy little cloth bag which I never use, even when packing for trips. The black one is, well, black, and the blue one is a nice shade of blue some might call "royal blue", which is brighter than my "navy blue" pants (and the black buckle). I didn't want my belt to make a statement, but it is pretty. These actually measure 1.5" wide, as advertised, and the tip is nicely tapered. Ease up on the hype and the packaging.

From personal experience: Simple instructions to size and set the buckle, then remains set over all use. Buckle is strong, easy to release when removing belt, and so far has been flawless, with the added attraction over metal buckles of not scratching/damaging items that they may come into contact with, such as car fenders/doors, etc. Versatile: wear in casual office/lab environment, or at home/chore/errand/hiking/exercising and similar activities. Easy to hand scrub with brush and soap if needed and wear to the office again. Purchased a second set just to renew the first which now see more home use and standby as spares mainly because the minor fraying caused by a metal cell phone case clip worn a minimum of 16 hours 365 days a year on the same area of the belts. Even so, this wear has proved to be easy to trim away with scissors or melt away with a soldering iron tip; both methods making the trimmed area look original. The highly practical length adjustment easily adjusts to the wardrobe and layers chosen for the moment.
