Basically this little book does exactly what you expect it to do. It provides calorie information (AND fat, protein, carbohydrate, fibre) for a huge number of foods & drinks. If you are counting calories, this helps enormously as it's all in one place. Great little book and a good price!

By far the easiest way to lose/maintain your weight
This is a great little book in many ways and has a very comprehensive list of food items and their calorific content; some I've never even heard of let alone eaten. 2 small bugbears though; the liquids (oils etc) are recorded in grams rather than millilitres and the 'average' portion size of everything is arbitrary (and varies a great deal to my tastes). That said once you've used it for a couple of weeks, measured out at home and 'got your eye in' it gets a lot easier to assess your food/calorie intake. Using this book as a guide is a great way to know exactly what goes into your food and encourages you to keep it healthy and I'm getting much more adventurous in my cooking. Also, I've never been a take-away fan and having looked at the take-away section of this book I'm even less likely to be; home cooked Chinese Meals in Minutes here I come.

Great little companion
Love this little pocket sized book. Its great for calories on the go and also to plan ahead. There are Apps that do this, but i like to see lists infront of me and write down my daily intake. Reccomed this book.

Calorie Counter
A very useful little book. Not only does it have so many foods with calorie information but also carbohydrates. At the beginning of the book, there is valuable information about calorie and carbohydrates requirements. I will definitely use this book!
