I read it on kindle and it was really good and funny. If someone likes Lottie brooks then they might enjoy the wimpy kid books .I have read nearly all of them now. (This was reviewed by a child 🙂)

5* from my 8 year old! She is a massive Diary of a Wimpy Kid fan and says that this one didn't disappoint. She finished it almost in one sitting and then proceeded to tell me the entire story because she had loved it so much. I didn't read it with her put had a quick flick through and the quirky drawings are up to the same high standard as the previous books in the series. Jeff Kinney has really created a brilliant franchise here with books that appeal to both boys and girls and have wonderful funny drawings to break up the text

The Long Haul is the latest volume of Jeff Kinney's fun book series well loved by elementary school age boys in my family. We pre ordered #9 at the same time we purchased the box set of books 1-8. Our grandson was the 1st in his group to receive the new book (thanks Amazon!). Jeff Kinney writes from the perspective of 'everyboy', apt point of view of the 'average' kid who often struggles, sometimes triumphs. The boys love reading & re-reading the popular Wimpy Kid books. Looking forward to #10!
