*10D* Sealey AK6962 1/4 Bit Driver Ratchet - High Quality Stainless Steel - 72T

Excellent quality good for dash work

Decent pocket size driver and bit holder. I've owned Sealey products before, excellent quality and finish. This is good for EDC use. A compact item that is fit for purpose, ideal for emergency or occasional use. Not up to heavy duty tasks but good for what it is capable of.

This is a very nicely made compact ratchet bit holder. It is very small profile which enables you to get easily into even very small spaces with it. I was slightly disappointed (it was my fault) as I thought the design was that you could insert a long handle into the base, rotate that and it would make the head rotate through gearing. That is NOT the case - as I say, it was my mistake. The bit you insert into the end of the handle is merely to give you a longer handle itself so you can poke it further into a tight space. The unit itself is nicely made and it does not suffer with accidentally switching from one direction to the other by catching the little toggle as much as I have found with two different BOSCH made items which are relatively similar.

This thing is great, versatile, due to small form factor and also taking 1/4in hex bits. Works as a screwdriver and ratchet (albeit, in a jack of all trades, master of none situation) Highly reccomended for confined spaces, perfect build quality, and versatility. Reasonably priced, too.

Seems like a nicely made, tiny tool. Really useful when you need to drive a 1/4" bit but don't have space for a screwdriver.

Managed to fix my rear parking sensors by removing my bumper without needing to remove wheels or jacking up. This great tool allowed me to get in to some very awkward spots where a normal socket or driver wouldn't allow. It's good quality, a little more expensive than the other Chinese stuff, but looks like it will last. Recommended!

All dimensions are given to the nearest mm - overall length 85 - ratchet head diameter 21 - diameter at non-ratchet end 13 - thickness of ratchet mechanism 11 - depth of bit recess in ratchet mechanism 7 - depth of bit recess at non-ratchet end 11. Weight 58 gm. Bits are gripped in the normal way by two opposed sprung ball-bearings at each end acting on the flat sides of the bit shank - violent shaking could not dislodge the bit from either end. The ratchet has 78 clicks per 360 degree rotation (plus or minus 3 clicks - I gave up after losing count after 5 attempts). This means that the bit may be advanced about 5 degrees per click, allowing work in a very confined space. Bit rotation is changed from right to left by means of a slider switch. The bit may only be inserted from the non-switch face of the ratchet mechanism. A T-bar may be inserted through the ratchet mechanism recess if you want to abuse the tool in search of more torque at the non-ratchet end. The tool is said to be made of stainless steel, and the body almost certainly is, while other parts may not be. The whole is strongly attracted to a magnet. I like it!

Die Ratsche ist mit knapp 9cm Länge echt klein. Zusammen mit ein paar Standard Bit Einsätzen und einem Victorinox Bantam findet die Ratsche Platz in einer Altoids Box.
