DNEOUXI Waterproof Extra Wide Leg Cast Cover for Shower with NonSlip Bottom

I used this with surgical bandages and then a cast that went from my foot to my knee, and it worked exactly as intended. It kept water out completely during showers and gave me much more peace of mind during recovery. It was also surprisingly easy to put on by myself. The seal felt secure without being painfully tight, which made it much more comfortable to use regularly. I used it repeatedly and it held up well without leaking. The sizing matched the description accurately, and overall it made injury recovery much less stressful. I would absolutely recommend it and buy it again if needed.

I had knee surgery many years ago and resorted to using plastic shipping wrap or garbage bags with tape to cover my post-op injury while showering. It was cumbersome, expensive, wasteful, and didn’t always do a good job of keeping my injury watertight. Just had lower leg surgery involving my calf and my ankle. Can’t bear weight on it and can’t get it wet for a while. I resorted to trash bag the first night, but figured there had to be a better way. After reading reviews, I decided to give this a try. I’m glad I did. This is made from a thick vinyl-like material with a plastic ring and rubber top, that you place your leg through. This boot fit over my bandaged cast and my large size walking boot, which I have since the cast was removed. The rubber is strong and does a great job of keeping water out. It has worked great for the last few weeks that I have had it. If you have really large thighs, the rubber might be a little tight, but that is what it was intended to do. Overall, it is well worth the money I spent on it and has held up well.

Works well to keep cast on foot dry. It took both my husband and I to stretch it over the bulky cast I have on my foot/leg but it sealed nicely to keep the cast dry. It has a bit of a texture on the sole to help with traction and the silicon is thick that it shouldn’t tear or rip easily. We wiped it down after the shower and before taking it off my leg so then hung it over the tub. Dried well and ready for next shower day. Getting it off and on is the most challenging but the opening does stretch more than many of these I looked at…and you need it to seal off in order to keep things dry. I’m very pleased with it and feel it was worth the extra price, some similar products were at lower cost…but didn’t have the stretch and thickness this one and weren’t as roomy. The extra width of the foot area is helpful as I didn’t know how big the cast would be prior to ordering it. Being 5’10” and 175 lbs. it not only fit over my cast well but I was able to get it to seal just above my knee. I would buy this again and would recommend to others with similar needs.

This cast cover for protecting your cast or boot when taking showers is great! The important thing is to measure your leg to be sure to get the correct size. When the cover is on, my cover has the silicone seal just above my knee which works well for me. And mine has the grippy material on the bottom of foot part which I think helps prevent slipping. When stretching the blue silicone opening to get your foot in, with a large boot, 2 things make it challenging but certainly possible: 1) it can be challenging to bend down enough to reach your boot covered toes to start pulling the cover over your boot, and 2) the blue silicone works great to seal your leg from getting the boot wet, but stretching the silicone to get that foot and then leg in takes a bit of effort and may require assistance for some people. Two hands can stretch the silicone in one way but stretching it in the other way can need a second pair of hands. I needed assistance at the beginning but became a little more flexible enough to do it mostly myself.

Works great and fit over my CAM boot. It’s a bit difficult to get on but that ensures your leg doesn’t get wet. Only negative is if you break the seal by bumping something (I.e., your other leg like I did) you may have some leakage.

Due to a recent surgery, I have a cast on my foot. Part of the stern warning from my doctor is to not let this cast get wet. After a couple of weeks of not being able to take a shower, and having to stand in front of the sink and take a standing sponge bath, I found this protective device that bragged of being waterproof, and I could take a shower without worry. It slipped easily over my size 15 foot, which is now a much bigger size due to the cushion and cast that envelopes my foot. It was able to grip my leg at various positions where applied. I was worried that it would fail while taking my long awaited shower. I did not rush my shower and stayed in it for about 20 minutes. After my shower, I removed the cast protector and inspected my cast. My cast was completely dry, and not one drop of water made it inside. I have used it several times with the same results. I thought the price was a little steep, but the alternative is to continue not taking showers, so I gladly paid it. The good thing is that this cast protector is reusable and you don’t have to buy more of them. It’s well-made and comes with slip protection on the bottom to help you keep from sliding in your shower. Obviously, you would still use caution, but I can tell you that I didn’t slip one time while taking showers while using this cast protector. If I needed another one for my other foot, I would buy it again. This is just what the doctor ordered!

I bought this for my sister after she broke her leg, and she said it worked really well. It kept her leg completely dry, was easy to use, and was a great value for the price.

I only used it once. I did well. I am hoping it last until I heal. It was easy to go on my leg. It seems like it was well made.
