NEEWER 47.2”/120cm Motorized Camera Slider, App Wireless Control Carbon Fiber Dolly Rail Slider, Support Video Mode, Time Lapse Photography, Horizontal, Tracking and 120° Panoramic Shooting (ER1-120)

This slider is very well engineered. I bought the 47" model. It automatically eases out from one spot to the next, where it eases in gently. It's a smooth operator. Works well with the remote and from the iPhone app. It is very, very quiet, perfectly suitable for live video. It has 3 attach points if you want to use them all, one at center with both 1/4-20 and 3/8" threads, and one on each end. I use it with Accsoon Toprig (they attach perfectly via the 1/4-20 threaded end) stabilizer arms on a solid Manfrotto tripod (the C-clamp end of the Toprig arms locks on solidly; very sturdy and stable. The centerline crossbar arrangement that lets you set whether the camera pans inward (keeping a steady aim on studio talent) or pans outward (landscapes? timelapse starfields?? you tell me...) as it moves from one end to the other is very clever; purely mechanical, no separate motor for panning, but it pans smoothly and beautifully. Built quality is excellent. Noise? None, except when zipping at max speed, which you would never use in live video, and even then, it's minimal. Durable, built tough. Nice carry case. For a mere 3Cs, I don't see how they do it, but I'm glad they did; excellent value. And I'm an electrical engineer in addition to being a video freak - a harsh judge like the Siberian judges at the Winter Olympics. I really like this product. And yes, battery life is excellent. Sweet bar graph backlit LCDs for the Li-ion batt in the remote, another for the Sony NP-type battery on the slider itself. Excellent product integration, hardware, mechanics, software, app. Keep it up, guys! Oh, and pardon the junk all over the place in the studio. One day, I'll clean it all up. Today is not that day :)

Definitely worth the money. Let’s you change up the shot of product or b roll if you’re a videographer. App control makes this easy to use. Using this with a phone gimbal to help get intricate shots.

Light weight, great padded bag to put it all in. Bunch of cords included to fit many different camera types for time lapse. iPhone app works great. I bought their separate wireless remote too. Easy to use once you work with it a little. I like that the time lapse feature will calculate it all out based on how long you want the final one to be, or by entering exposure/intervals. Moves my big Canon EOS R with heavy lens around even up inclines. iPhone video seemed to have a jittery vibration to it. Could just be my adapter/clamp I'm using with it though. I plan on using it for the big boy camera anyway. Easy belt tensioner. Super quiet and basically silent in all but the fastest speed, and even then not that loud. Dull cloudy rainy days since I got it, of course, so I've just been playing around with it inside. Took the quick video I'm including with my review just for kicks..

Going to have to return this. It works great as a motorless slider and it’s really simple to set up and feels solid. The problems are: The mounting plate is smaller than standard size so you have to swap out the ball head for a standard one if you don’t want to keep changing the mounting plates every time you want to shoot. The app seems like Chinese spyware, there’s an option for ‘free cloud storage’ if you give up all your phone's accessibility. The app is jenky and I was only able to make two time lapses before it froze on the ‘setting slider’ screen. Once it started up in Chinese. I can’t get the Timelapse option to work anymore. It comes with a whole lot of camera cables except mini usb. So I can’t use it on my canon 6dm2. *update - changing my 2 star to a 3 since you can’t write a separate review for the 120cm slider. I would recommend upgrading to the 120 cm slider, not only does it offer more length for creativity but it comes with a remote control as well as being compatible with the app. Also the backplate doesn’t need a quarter to screw into the camera. The batteries also came mostly charged so I could get testing and shooting pretty quickly. I did notice some resistance from the slider when moving it manually in the middle. Not sure if it’s intentional but when the motor is active it doesn’t seem to affect the overall performance.

Sometimes the motor band sticks when first initiated, but will work fine once restarted. This slider is a bit too long to work with only 1 tripod and support arms. You’re better off with 2 tripods if using a camera versus a phone to film to have the best stability

High quality camera slider. Great piece of kit. High quality aluminum with carbon fiber tubes and nice anodized bits. Can't beat at this price. Neewer never ceases to amaze me. I got the 80 cm slider and will likely get the smaller one for hikiging as well. Great for getting cool B roll material. Works well with the phone app, but was unable to get the wireless remote paired up so that was returned.

Qualität ★★★★★ Als erstes fällt einen die Qualität direkt ins Auge. Alle Bauteile wie auch die Führungsschienen oder auch der Kopf der Aufnahme sind sehr hochwertige verarbeitet. Anwendung ★★★★★ Der starke Motor schafft es auch die Kamera in der Vertikalen sauber zu bewegen. Neben der automatischen Anwendung kann der Slider allerdings auch manuell und per Hand verwendet werden. Alles wird in der App hierzu perfekt umgesetzt, Dieser Slider ist schon mehr als nur ein Einsteigermodell. Mit seinen vielen Möglichkeiten kann dieses Modell wunderbar von Profis eingesetzt werden. Er bewegt die aufgeschraubte Kamera von links nach rechts und von rechts nach links. Mit der Stange in der Mitte kann man dann zusätzlich noch einstellen, ob sich die Kamera während der Fahrt nach links oder rechts neigen soll. Damit kann man beim filmen ganz schöne Effekte erzielen. Dazu ist es auch möglich, die Schiene mit dem 1/4-Zoll Stativ-gewinde auf einem Stativ zu befestigen. Auch das habe ich ausprobiert – Selbst mit Steigungen und Gefälle der Schiene kommt der Motor des Sliders zurecht. Vorteile: ☆Gleitende Bewegungen – Mit einem Slider lassen sich gleichmäßige Kamerabewegungen drehen. ☆Kompatibel mit Stativ – Durch die Kombination mit einem Stativ lassen sich außergewöhnlich neue Perspektiven entdecken. ☆Waagerecht und Senkrecht – Ein Slider kann auf einem Stativ in verschiedenen Winkeln eingesetzt werden. ☆Reibungsarmes Material – Kameraslider sind ohne externe Schmiermittel zu gebrauchen. Fazit ★★★★★ Insgesamt kann man sagen, dass man für den Preis genau das bekommt, was man erwarten kann. Einen relativ soliden automatischen Kamera Slider mit vielen Möglichkeiten seine Kreativität freien Lauf zu lassen! Dank der App, ist die Bedienung wirklich ein Kinderspiel

Faccio timelapse per lavoro da anni e sono soddisfattissimo di questo dolly, prima ne usavo uno auto costruito ma era abbastanza pesante. E' quasi un anno che lavoro con questo e l'unica pecca riscontrata è stata la boccola di innesto a jack del cavetto che si collega alla fotocamera, dopo qualche mese non faceva più contatto impedendomi il funzionamento sincronizzato della fotocamera. Ho risolto installando una seconda presa e collegandola all'interno al circuito esistente. Mi rendo conto che non è semplice per tutti ma questa soluzione mi ha permesso di risolvere. Per il resto niente da dire.

I mostly shoot timelapse astrophotography and wanted some motion in my work. This Neewer motorized slider fits the bill and then some. Sturdy and well built, smooth motion and the app makes things easy to set up the motion and the timelapse (controls both the camera and the slider movements). I would suggest getting a 2nd NP-550 battery if you are doing a lot of movement or don't want to stop 4 hours into a timelapse because your battery has run out. Solid buy!

Works like a sharm

Autant investir une bonne fois pour toute dans du solide. Ce trépied en acier inoxydable change des modèles en alu qui tiennent à peine quelques utilisations. La construction est vraiment robuste, les ressorts sécurisent bien la descente, et la stabilité est au rendez-vous. Je l’utilise avec un Godox ML60, mais je sais qu’il peut largement supporter du matériel plus lourd. Une vraie base fiable pour un setup pro ou semi-pro.
