Good product

Bought this to replenish the pantry, it was fresh and works well for quick breads, rolls, pancakes etc. This was a budget friendly option and alternative to what I normally buy and having it delivered to my door with other amazon pantry staples with a bulk buy discount was a plus.

Good baking powder

We are definitely a from-scratch kind of kitchen, so Amazon Grocery Double Acting Baking Powder is one of those basic ingredients that gets used for a little bit of everything around here. Buttermilk biscuits with bacon gravy, homemade chicken and dumplings, flour tortillas, buttermilk pancakes, waffles and quick breads are all regulars in our kitchen, especially once the cooler months start rolling around. I’ve been very pleased with how this baking powder performs. It gives me the rise I’m looking for and works just as well for our everyday recipes as the brands I’ve bought for years. I also like the 8.1 oz size—large enough to keep us baking for a while without taking up a ton of pantry space. We’re getting into that time of year when I start stocking the pantry for lots more baking and comfort-food cooking, and this is exactly the kind of staple I like having on hand. Simple ingredient, but an important one when you cook from scratch as much as we do. I would happily purchase it again.
