One of the best games 2014
I really really enjoyed playing this game it was bar far the best game i've played in a while. I like my shooters and this filled the the massive void for me of Call of Duty Advanced Warfare which was terrible. Its a complete online game which can be a single player story by yourself or with friends. There are raids for upto 6 people which are mini levels as such which take alot of team work to achieve and are very challenging. There are plenty of weapons and gear to earn purchase with in game currency not real money and these can all be upgraded. I played this a lot since Christmas on 360 then purchased an Xbox One version when I upgraded to the next gen console. I'm not a fan of the new console but your charaters are interchangeable between the two machines which is good. It's a shame Bungie don't offer this across to say the PS4 which I now have as I would love to buy a copy and keep playing. I still have my 360 so not all bad. For the money you can pick this up for I would highly recomend to buy a copy and even add the extra DLC which is also very good. You will not be disapointed.

The best next-gen game by far!!!
Honestly this game is amazing! Not much can be said about this game! This game is the best game on next gen by far so far and they have really used the power of next generation to add amazing graphics and gameplay. The game itself is so fun! Completing the game and reaching level 20 was fun, but beyond that is amazing. Competing the strikes is very rewarding and good to do. By far one of the best things in the game is Raid, this takes about 1-3 hours to complete (depending on skill) and it is so fun, it's challenging and completing feels so good every time. This game having a ten year plan makes me so excited for the future, the game is fun already so I am so excited for things to be added! Buy this game! It is simply amazing

Top game for FPS or RPG fans
Superb game with great gameplay, a beautiful world to explore and keeps getting better as they add new raids and events. Probably one of if not the best Next Gen game out now. Are times where it gets a little repetitive but not as much as a typical MMO and with the quality gameplay and decent enemy AI remains fun. Multiplayer both co-op and competitive adds more fun and longevity to it. The story is light but interesting enough to give some purpose to what you are doing and shows potential for future expansions/events to continue.

Destiny will get better, with time.
First I would like to say this game was well overhyped, but itโs still an awesome game if you are a fan of the Halo series, this game has familiar traits that will give you fresh experiences with that Halo style gun play that we all love, the game however is completely different. I guess if you had to compare it to any other game, Borderlands is your closest match but itโs not even close. It's an FPS with RPG elements at heart, but you realize itโs a completely fresh concept when you start playing. The controls are tight and precise which Bungie seem to have perfected, the controls feel perfect for the controller, this is coming from primarily a computer gamer, the game itself starts a little slow for my liking since you have no access to any skills (including simple things like grenades or double jump) until you start leveling up but you soon gain traction and forget about the earlier levels. Once you do gain traction you are away to do your own thing and feel completely free to explore, this however is where something doesnโt feel quite right, a game this huge and yet it feels empty, bare.. the main city you will spend a great deal of time swapping out your weapons and armor but there are only merchants to be found with the one line to say to you. Destiny suffers from something that it has yet to discover, with most RPGs there is a great deal of NPC's to talk about lore or history, maybe give you help or information of the missions/tasks ahead, you get none of this in destiny, you are simply selecting a mission and thrown in (usually to kill something) but youโre not given the whole reason or who you are killing, or what purpose it will bring, itโs there to create a boss to kill and nothing more. This frustrates me, what makes it worse is a huge planet to explore becomes hollow and empty with patches of enemies here and there but nothing more, no NPCs to find at all, I will explore caves just to find a dead end where you would expect to find loot or some NPC quest in any other RPG, but now I ignore caves completely because I know they will be empty and pointless, this makes exploring instantly become stale and boring, you find yourself just pushing through the main missions, missed opportunities. If you are playing single player it becomes worse, since it really is an almost lonely experience, you do get the odd player running past you but if they are not on your fire team the minute they leave the area they disappear, so I find Destiny a great FPS but not a great RPG itโs got the elements all there but the execution is flat, I had the most fun when going for online missions where you had to join others to seek and kill a boss, for this reason I would say if you plan to play it on your own you may want to try it first before you buy. This is a game that is designed for COOP, one that has a lot more to learn. Many MMORPG suffered the same issues originally, maybe I'm spoilt when I used to play WOW but this game is lacking something, right now it feels like a shell of what it could be, the gunplay is fun and even more so with your mates but ultimately the game feels unfinished but its still a great experience with updates to come!.

You want your hand back mr postman?
Was standing by the window waiting for the postman for this. A really good and addictive game, couldnt stop playing it, but I had to eat. I would say its similar style presentation to Mass Effect, for the RPG elements and Halo, for the combat. I like te levelling up system and the combat is really 'open' and fun. Was playing it with my brother for a few hours too and its great to be wandering around on planets and bump into other players randomly. Those moments can be quite epic as you can do a combined effort with an objective, or a tough enemy.

A turn for the better for Next Generation gaming
WHAT A GAME!! A fantasic FPS game mixed with the RPG elements of final fantasy with fantastic customisation. Some are complaining about endless amounts of 'Fallen' to fight but thats the Levelling up side of the game to unlock the best of the best and you can easily avoid if you want and go through the story mode levelling up. I believe were in a gaming age where everthing is a money game, casual games want to buy accessories (COD) and coins (Fifa Ultimate Team) but Destiny is away from that, it rewards the gamer for putting effort into the game and ultimately thats more satisfying because on Destiny you can make your character look awesome! Youve got a short 7-10 hour story mode (level dependent) Youve got free roam (where after hard work you will find the best upgrades) Youve got head to head matches Youve got it all!!! totally love this game and really hope the expansion packs reach Xbox One

LOVING THIS GAME
I love it. Still playing it and I got it on release day. The story is light and a bit confusing but the graphics, controls and general gameplay are a true joy to behold. The only negative is the reward system needs some work. I've had games being the best player getting a k/d of 2.25% and get nothing. Someone else on my team gets 1 kill with 12 deaths and gets an Exotic weapon?!?!?

Destiny (Xbox One)
I you love first person shooters you will love this bit of halo bit of cod bit of mass effect all rolled into one Just awesome only drawback is you need a persistent internet connection to play it this HAS caused me issues as I live out in the sticks relatively speaking there is no hope of fibre where we live sadly =( as for the game play it can get a bit repetitive as with all shooters however it does reward with weapon upgrades etc. this gives you the opportunity to go back and attempt previously impossible missions and walk through them =) who knows how long the destiny servers will be running but unless they make a final offline play patch this game is on a time bomb when it will stop working forever sadly but good overall I have had over 100 hours gameplay so far so it is good value for money
