Seems to work very well, was a higher reading out of the box matching room temperature, then went down in the fridge but not as low as I wanted the fridge to be so I adjusted the fridge thermostat and now can feel confident it’s at 5 degrees or less for safety. Seems good quality and was a good price, would recommend.

I bought 2 of these to keep an eye on the temperature in my fridge & freezer compartments, having recently had a meltdown due to a fault. I kept them at room temperature for a few hours to calibrate them, and one was out by about a degree- no problem, I just reset it using the little screw at the back. As others have mentioned, it's difficult to find anywhere to hang them in modern fridge-freezers! I solved this problem with a couple of suction cups normally used to hang Christmas decorations (various suitable types can be found on Amazon). I removed the plastic hook from the boss at the back of the cup, and carefully pushed the boss of the cup into the eye of the thermometer hook. I have now mounted one thermometer on the inside wall of my fridge and the other inside one of the freezer drawers (see image). They're easy to read, and come with useful guidelines as to the ideal temperature for a fridge and freezer. The dial has colour-coded zones so you can tell at a glance if your fridge or freezer is at the right temperature. These are very useful little gadgets at a really good price. The only thing which could be improved would be to provide more options for attachment.
