I love this product it's my favorite and i have Afro hair

Has this product got any protein in it? I have done the rice water challenge and it has made my hair very dry and brittle :(

I believe so, I did not check each ingredient but on naturallycurly.com it is listed under the protein free products. My hair doesn't like much protein either, especially not in the leave-in. I found AJ not moisturizing enough though for my coloured hair so have switched to novex mystic black instead and never looked back.

I have thick, low porosity, 4c hair, would this moisturise my hair enough?

I have very thick 3c hair and I think this is one of the most moisturising products that doesn’t leave your hair heavy and oily. It’s been a staple of mine for years.
