It's probably the best headlamp that I've ever had. And I have the biolate 750 and still do, and I've had it for over 3 years. And the battery still lasts a long time and still works great. I like that. It remembers your settings and you don't have to go through all of the different light modes, and it fits perfect on your head or with a hat. And the light, the way it shines on the ground.Hits great also.

This running headlamp has been an absolute game-changer for me. Whether I’m hitting the road before sunrise or squeezing in miles after dark, it lights the way perfectly. Bright, lightweight, and super comfortable—it checks all the boxes. The beam is powerful and wide enough to clearly see the path ahead, but not so intense that it blinds people or drivers. I love the multiple brightness settings and the red light mode for low visibility situations. Battery life is impressive too—I’ve gone several runs without needing a recharge. What really stands out is the fit. It doesn’t bounce or slide around, even during long runs or sprints. The adjustable strap is soft but snug, and it feels almost weightless once you get moving. I’ve worn it in rain and cold without any issues—it holds up. If you’re a serious runner—or just someone who wants to stay safe and visible when it’s dark—this headlamp is a must. Honestly, I don’t know how I ran without it.

A little heavy, but the surface area of the band mixed with the comfort of the material makes me appreciate the weight; feel it on there but only enough to know it’s not going to budge. This makes me so much more comfortable running in the dark. Fantastic headlamp.

This head lamp is awesome. When I first got it I was worried about the weight because it's a little heavy. I use it for night running and thought the weight would be a problem. But I've worn it a few times and it stays on well.

I really love this head lamp. But… After 20 months of daily wear for evening dog walk, the head band doesn’t stay, the plastic case on back is falling apart, and now the tabs for the headband have broken off. It is almost as if the plastic is getting brittle and disintegrating. I would get another one, but don’t want to pay for the poor construction quality again. 5 stars for features. 1 star for shoddy construction.

I went through and read some of the reviews on the 800. Now I haven't received mine yet, but based on some of the reviews from current model the highs and lows of the product are very broad in the opinions. In my experience from the previous model the headlamp excelled in all categories. It was great in brightness, longevity, comfort level in wearing, and bonus for me as a ultra runner the run forever plug is a bonus in itself. Another case scenario when running on the country roads early am with the touch of the button of the battery pack for increased brightness for 30 seconds has created an awareness to drivers who where just about to come close to hitting me due to not knowing of my physical presence. THe previous version has not failed when it is raining. I do use my light for other functions besides running and it has worked great. I am looking forward to my new pro 800. If there is any discrepancies with the new model I will most definitely update with any new news.

Works great until it breaks. This delicate broken piece of plastic keeps me from using a great headlamp.

The power of this headlight is incredible, but you won't need it for small city runs. Get a lower model it will be lighter and it will be cheaper.

This is my second head light I purchase from biolite, my first one still works after 6 years but the headband is stretched out. I needed a new one as I live on a homestead with animals and this is my go to light. I use this a few hours a day and the new 800 pro has been running now for 3 weeks without charge on the red light settings which is perfect for me. Thank you to Biolite and Amazon for this fantastic product.

I've had this torch over a year now it's pretty good overall and great options for different types of light settings. It's great to be able to track how much power is left on the battery and really handy having a light on the back to alert people on the roads and things like that. The one drawback of this torch is the angle positioning of the lamp when setting it to an acute angle it can lose its position.

I have some ultra running races coming up and I wanted something that had an external charged. It’s so comfortable feels like your not wearing anything… especially compared to other light out there! I am very happy with my perches. Biolite was thinking of the tuner in mind what they made this lite…. Thank you Biolite
