can you use it with case on

I have a case on my iPhone 6s plus that was recommended by Apple, and the Belkin charger will not work. The lightning plug does not insert into the charging port on the phone. The case is to thick. Very unhappy about this.

I'd say, yes. It works with my iPhone 6 Plus 5.5 inch with the Apple silicon case. It even works with my iPad Mini. So, yes.

What is wattage of Belkin charge+sync dock for iPhone 5?

It depends on what you plug the usb into. It doesn’t come with it’s own plug. I use mine with a standard iPhone plug which is 5W but other adapters can be different wattage.
