Good quality 2 step mascara
I’ve been using the L’Oréal Paris Double Extension Mascara in Extra Black, and overall I think it’s a decent product for the price I paid (£8.90). The 2-step idea is interesting – first the conditioning base coat, then the colour. It does seem to help the lashes look a bit longer, and I’d say it adds noticeable length without making them feel too heavy. The brush is quite good and separates the lashes well, so I didn’t really get much clumping, which is always a plus. The colour is a nice deep black and gives a natural but defined look rather than being too dramatic. It’s not perfect though – the extra step takes a bit more time, and the results aren’t as dramatic as some other mascaras I’ve tried. Still, for everyday use, it does the job nicely. Also, with Amazon Prime, delivery and returns make it easy to try without much risk.

One of the best primer and mascara duos around. My lashes look invisible if I don't prime them first and this is one of the mascaras I've bought time and time again. It does give the impression of thicker and slightly longer lashes. Would recommend to anyone looking g for a new mascara

Very different from the red tube of the Extension series
Disappointed. I would send it back if I could. Bought this thinking it was a better and newer version of the Double Extension red and white tubes máscara that I have been using for over 12 years. I was wrong, this one does not have the thing I like the most about the other one: which is not leaving any dark / black under eyes makeup traces. This one, is like any other mascara: after a while the mascara does fade to under your eyes and you become a panda! Bad.
