Absolutely love this soup maker — it’s become one of the most used appliances in our kitchen. We use it all the time to make different kinds of soups, from simple tomato or vegetable soup to thicker recipes like lentil, butternut squash, and chicken soup. It saves so much time compared to using separate pans and a hand blender. The smooth and chunky settings are both really useful depending on the type of soup you want, and the sauté function makes a big difference because you can soften onions, garlic, or spices first without needing another pan. The soup comes out hot and ready to eat with very little effort. One thing I’d recommend is not overfilling it, especially with ingredients that expand while cooking like lentils or potatoes. Cutting vegetables into smaller pieces also helps everything cook more evenly and blend properly. For creamier soups, I usually add cream or coconut milk near the end rather than at the start. Cleaning is much easier than I expected too. I normally rinse it soon after use and it cleans up quickly. Overall, if you enjoy homemade soup but don’t always want the hassle of standing over the stove blending everything manually, this is genuinely worth having. It’s convenient, easy to use, and makes really good soup every time.

So easy to use and make delicious home made soup
Arrived today and made our first soup with it. The Saute function works really well and saves using pots and pans to prep things which makes this model so much more functional. It's a good size and can easily make soup for 4-6 people. It is nice and light weight but feels like it good quality and should last a decent time. Comparing to other models and brands this is great value for money having the additional functions and compatible for a variety of different tastes.

Don't hesitate!
I first bought this product for my daughter, as after leaving home her diet seemed rather rubbish, and I wanted to encourage her to eat more vegetables. She absolutely loved it and made soups regularly, so although I did think it seemed a bit of a gimmick, and was initially put off by the many reviews of it blowing fuses etc, I succumbed to temptation, inspired by the many excellent reviews (and the two year guarantee from Amazon), bought one for myself. And it's brilliant! Have made quite a few absolutely delicious soups so far, originally sticking to the ones provided in the MR recipe book, and then adapting my favourites and adding spices and extra ingredients etc. It is so incredibly quick and easy - although I originally rather scorned such a gadget when it is comparatively easy to make soup on the hob and blend it, this is truly in a different league. Loving the saute function - I think it is worth investing in this particular model for this alone. I am an intrinsically lazy cook, but rarely buy any processed/ready made foods, and this is my new favourite toy, especially when I'm home alone and want to eat real food with no effort. Great for using up sad odds and ends from the bottom of the fridge too. I use Marigold organic stock powder and so far the results have been beyond delicious, especially when you add a few herbs and spices. I rather suspect that the fusing issue might be because of steam getting into the works, as it does steam up quite a lot especially when you first open it up after making your soup, so I have only made one batch at a time, and then after wiping it out (easy) I leave it by my Aga (or any warm place would do) to dry out thoroughly before using again, and though relatively early days and I might yet be proved wrong, have had no trouble yet. Overall I am extraordinarily delighted with this and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this product.

Highly recommended Soup Maker !
If you're on the hunt for a kitchen appliance that can truly transform your culinary game, look no further than this incredible soup maker with a sauté function. While you might come across soup makers at a lower price point, let me assure you that this one is an absolute gem and worth every single penny. What sets this soup maker apart is its ingenious sauté function, which eliminates the need for an extra pan when preparing your soups. Say goodbye to the hassle of sautéing onions and veggies separately - this beauty does it all in one go, and the difference in flavor is remarkable. Now, let's talk about its size. It's compact, hardly taking up more space than a standard kettle. This means it won't clutter your kitchen, and you'll have more room to explore your culinary creativity. But here's where it truly shines: in just about 20 minutes, you can indulge in exquisitely cooked, velvety-smooth soups. And here's my secret - chop those veggies a tad smaller to fit more in, start with less stock, and adjust the consistency later for extra servings throughout the week. It's a meal prep dream, especially for those busy work lunches. Speaking of versatility, I've experimented with a range of soup recipes, from the classic carrot and coriander to the rich and hearty lentil and bacon, or the indulgent broccoli and stilton. And let's not forget the ultimate comfort food - cauliflower cheese soup. They all turn out simply divine. But here's the kicker - when you're feeling a bit lazy, you can grab Asda's pre-prepared fresh soup veggies. Their spicy butternut squash and scotch broth options are personal favorites. And for a real treat, try making a chunky scotch broth with minced lamb and peas. It's like a warm hug in a bowl. In a nutshell, this soup maker is not just a kitchen appliance; it's a game-changer. If you crave quick, wholesome soups that outshine any canned version and are a breeze to prepare, this is your ticket to culinary bliss. Trust me, it's become an indispensable part of my kitchen, and I wholeheartedly recommend it. Don't miss out on the opportunity to elevate your soup-making game to a whole new level!

Great Soup Maker, Minimum Effort.
Really love this soup maker. Easy to use, soup ready quickly with minimum effort. A little noisy when first starts to smooth soup but once you are used to hearing how it operates its fine, just got a fright the first time. Really easy to clean too.

Excellent Soup Maker
So, I have soup at work almost every day for lunch. I buy the standard H***z variety. Never again. I purchased the Saute Soup Maker yesterday and this morning tried it for the first time. I made Broccolli and Stilton soup from Margaret Wrens Complete British Soup Maker Cookbook. Well... absolutely full of flavour and so smooth and no nasty additives. This gem of a soup maker will pay for itself in 4 months. I added a teaspoon of vegetable oil to the butter when I sauted the onions to help prevent any burning on the base. There was a little burning after cooking but I followed the Morphy Richards instructions after cooking to put in hot water and washing up liquid and after 15 minutes wiped with a sponge scourer and it wiped off easily. There wss some steam but no more than normal cooking, e.g. steaming vegetables. Easy to cook, easy to clean and not noisy. Would definately recommend

Great Soup maker!
I received the soup maker today and decided to try out it out straight away as I wanted a light tea. I was surprised as it wasn’t as tall as I was expecting and it fits well on my shelf. I took the advice from another reviewer which said, read the manual and follow the instructions. Without further ado, I cleaned the unit as instructed then I was ready to go. I had not long frozen some vegetables (onions, carrots, swede, parsnips, potato) so decided to make the vegetable soup recipe in the manual. Not many ingredients which was a bonus, I weighed out the vegetables but before I put it in the jug, I put a little water in the bottom (as another reviewer advised putting a little water in the bottom to stop anything sticking and it worked). I also listened to the same reviewer who said do not fill the jug right up to the maximum level, fill it just below, which prevents any spillage. I opted for smooth, pressed the start button and off it went merrily. I have to say that the blending part is noisy and I jumped out of my skin when it fired up! After 19 minutes, I had my soup, it was nice, smooth and thick, I coupled it with a nice whole grain roll, buttered of course! ;) okay! It did say it makes 4 portions but I hadn’t had lunch and was ravenous, so I got three portions instead. I am really looking forward to making some hearty soups to take to work in the cold months. The best bit is that I know what is in my soup and it has no preservatives or dodgy E numbers!!! I am going to try tomato soup next :) The only thing I was a little disappointed at was I thought the soup maker I was buying had a pause function but it doesn’t, but it’s not hugely important. It cooks brilliantly as the soup is piping hot. I was going to buy the compact version but decided I wanted to make a few portions for the week. It is expensive but I think I am going to get a lot of use out of it.

Excellent Soup Maker - useful gadget that makes wonderful, effortless soup
Delighted with this. I always made my own soup but this has simplified things even further as you can prep then leave it until it's done - no more stirring and watching a bubbling pot. Also, saves massively on washing up as you can serve straight from the jug to the bowl. One of the best features is the ability to sauté the veg first, giving the soup a far better flavour. The blended soup is very smooth, with the powerful blades leaving a silky smooth soup with no bits. It is easy to use and another excellent feature is that you can pause the programme, add new bits to the soup (e.g. bits you may not wish to be overcooked, such as courgettes to a chunky soup) and then the programme resumes. I know that many soup makers don't let you do this and if you interrupt the programme, it starts from the beginning again. This feature is also very handy if you wish to add e.g. cooked chopped chicken to a blended chicken soup or chopped ham to a Pea and Ham (blended) soup - I think it's great and have used it extensively since I bought it. Highly recommended

Absolute Kaufempfehlung!
