Dear Helen,The Copper Stone Pans are PTFE coated but is PFOA free. PFOA can be a by-product of PTFE (of which there are different grades). in manufacturing. The material we have used is compliant with the PFOA regulations and our pans are certified to the strictest standards in this regard.The pans are aluminium material with a steel base.
