It really does work, massive improvement to roof appearance
This is a really good product. I used a cleaner before applying, and the blue dye has added so much depth of colour. Was a little nervous when the first few brush strokes went on, but it dries darker. I used 1 bottle on a mini convertible roof and it looks good - however I will order a second bottle to ensure a really even coverage as my roof had a lot of tree sap stains. Really pleased with the overall improvement

Great product
I was very nervous about using this on a 12 year old Astra Twin top as I didn't want streaks. I need not have worried. There is a very helpful demonstration film on YouTube by Renovo and everything worked exactly as they said it would. The cleaner got rid of the bulk of the dirt but struggled on some old mould and what looked like bird deposits, but the blue revolver sorted it with a brilliant uniform colour...no patches, streaks or repainting. I've also treated it and it still looks great. As regards quantities: I used about 250 Mls of the cleaner, and just under the 500 Mls of both the colour reviver and proofer. This is a great product.

Works well, with plenty to go round
I decided to use my extra time at home to renovate my car's soft top, which over time had faded and acquired some patches of algæ stains. It's vital to clean the roof thoroughly first and allow it time to dry completely. I then hoovered the roof to remove dust and dried dirt, then applied the first coat of "reviver". Take care when opening the bottle - the cap is very secure, and if you've shaken the bottle you'll spill it! I liked the simplicity of painting it onto the fabric of the roof: it makes it easier to apply it evenly and to get right to the edges without getting it on the car's paintwork or glass. Keep a rag handy to wipe off any drips that do escape, though. This 500ml bottle was plenty for three coats on my two-seater roadster. In fact two coats were very effective, and I only decided to apply the third because I still had almost half a bottle, and I had plenty of time. After 24 hours, I applied waterproofer in the same way, again giving it three coats, which was in fact as much as the soft top would take. The colour is now noticeably darker and more even, and there's no trace of any of the algæ patches. Overall I'm very satisfied with the results.

Took time and patience, but my car hood looks like new.
First time I’ve used this stuff and it worked much better than I’d expected. Convertible Jaguar XK, with relatively large hood. One 500ml bottle proved to be just enough for a single coat, with only a couple of ml’s left over. Hood fabric was badly affected by mould – six years parked under a large damp tree! First action was to spray hood thoroughly with mould killer specifically described as safe to use on fabric. While still damp, scraped off mould with short-bladed kitchen knife. A very pernickety job that took several hours – but essential. As others have said, this dye is splashy, it runs everywhere, and it stains – that’s what it’s supposed to do. It’ll stain your shirt, your trousers, your skin, your hair – anything it touches. Have a roll of kitchen paper or a damp cloth beside you to wipe up/off dribbles and splashes. Don’t panic if you don’t wipe it all up immediately; it doesn’t damage paintwork or chrome trim or glass windows and, if you miss a few blobs or runs, it’ll still come off easily with hob cleaner or a Halfords bug shifter pad, even several days later. Stained fingers and nails will eventually scrub clean. But not stained clothes or gloves. My car and hood are dark blue. The Renovo tin said dark blue. When first painted on, the dye looked pale blue rather than dark blue, but it dried dark navy blue – a perfect match. Big sigh of relief. The hood was well-weathered, with extensive bleached areas where I’d scraped off mould growth - I found I needed three coats of dye, each applied a day apart. Two days after the final coat of dye, I sprayed on a coat of Car Gods fabric sealant. My weathered and scraped hood drank the stuff up – one 500ml spray bottle wasn’t quite enough for a single coat. But it was well worth it - that stuff is brilliant. Rain just balls up instantly into a host of tiny gleaming marbles of water. Final result – I guess anyone in the car trade would know instantly that this was a home DIY job but, to me and friends/family/visitors, it looks like I’ve got a new hood (or a new car). I’m well pleased. One small note of caution – the process is both time-consuming and weather dependent (unless you have a garage big enough to do the work under cover). I happen to be retired, so finding the time and waiting for dry days was easy – others might not be so fortunate.

Great products, use them with confidence
Used these products (cleaner, reviver, water proofer) on my Mini Convertible canvas roof, which was in a terrible state having not been washed or maintained for many years (pre-dating my ownership) They were brilliant. BRILLIANT. It's like a new hood. No stiffening, no issues, one bottle of each was fine for a mini hood. Bigger cars will want more of the water proofer, but I had plenty left of the other two. There were issues before with green algae, dirt, residue of bird shit, all sorts (I thought my dark blue roof was black) Great products, buy them and use them with confidence.

Impressed
Needed to re-dye a fabric hood on my Porsche 911 (996) cabriolet, which was faded. This stuff is marketed to not only car fabric hoods but also for use on Marine applications (yacht spray hoods for example). Looks amazing, have had several comments as to what i've used to make it look so nice. Looses one star just because its so watery, using a brush it will spritz everywhere, significant masking of car is required before painting on. Not a critisism more nitpicking, i would recommend this product to anyone. Some tips; *use a sacraficial plastic bowl/bucket and brush when painting the roof as the dye will stain everything! *take your time masking everything around the roof, expect drips and spray. *wipe with wet cloth around the boundreies of the fabric to disolve any droplets of dye before it dries *when painting on expect dye to foam on the fabric slightly, ignore the color of the foam produced it will go away to leave great deep shade. *dont be shy with the amount of coats you apply. *If it starts raining when the roof is still drying cutup some bin bags and cover the roof, wont look pretty but will stop rain from washing the dye out of the fabric and onto the car.

Great but buy one litre for large hood
Great product but you need a Litre for a decent sized hood. Don't be shy putting the product on as it needs to soak into the canvas.

Buon prodotto

Prep first & results look amazing!
Took a few extra time to recive as it came from the UK. Applied to my 22 year old Porsche Boxster S convertible top. I poured solution in a small pint contact and applied with a sponge, being careful to wipe any drips from car with a damp cloth. Be careful, wear gloves and clean drips immediately as it will stain paint if left on. Used only half the bottle on my small top. Note - I used a convertible top cleaner earlier in the day, let completely dry, and then applied dye. Also, use a lint brush prior to dying to prevent debris from being trapped underneath.
