Finally, what I needed. Because of my huge video card using most of the space. I was forced to use an external USB type C Ethernet network adapter because none of the network cards would fit under the GPU, however this compact card did the trick, and it works like a charm. Top speeds every single time I test it.Besides working great on Windows 11, It also, works very well on Linux for me. It was not even necessary to install any Linux drivers for it to work. It was recognized out of the box, just plug and play. In Windows 11 though, it was a different story as it didn't take advantage of my full Fiber internet, until after installing the drivers for Windows 11 from the TP-Link site.

I have Xfinity 1200 Mbps package with the worst Upload speed. I highly doubt fiber will ever be installed where I live. You get what you get living in an unincorporated area of a city (mostly rural).I bought this to replace 1 GB ethernet card I have. Installation was quick and easy. Once I downloaded the new drivers from TP-Link and the restart, my speed improved. I couldn't be happier.Having had AT&T Quantum/Gigabit Fiber, I miss having the symmetrical Download/Upload speeds. Being able to reach over 1000 Mbps download does help.

I had gotten this for my old computer when I upgraded to 1.2+gbps internet because I was limited to 900mb because it was just 1gbps port. Then when I was upgrading to my new computer I threw this in at the end in my new motherboard even though it came with 2.5gbps Ethernet onboard I figured it wouldn’t hurt just in case something became annoying. The Ethernet port on my new motherboard did not work on an existing install or a fresh install of windows while this expansion worked right out of the box and allowed me to update and install all the drivers I needed in a very timely manner. I love how reliable this device is and it was cheap, it’s so small and low powered you can pop it right into a prebuilt if you didn’t build your own pc.

This was easy to install and solve my issue from a failed card I had in my computer. Very happy with the performance.

I purchase two of these for a couple of my PCs that didn't have built in 2.5 Gbit connectivity when I upgraded to a 2.5 Gbit switch. One was running Windows 10 and the other is running TrueNAS version Electric eel. They both recognized the card and worked automatically. They do sustain 2.3-2.5 Gbit throughput.I do recommend this card if you need a good 2.5 Gbit card and don't have a 10Gig network.

I only have a 1Gb LAN port on my motherboard and with this I can achieve 2Gbps+ for downloads and 1Gbps+ for uploads. It’s plugged into my Eero Pro 7, which is connected to the Eero Max 7 (which is plugged into the ONT) in my garage, so even without a direct link to my main router or ONT, it achieves over double the speeds my motherboard’s LAN port was capable of. It took me about 90 seconds to install it into the PCI-E slot, it is very simple to download the driver that you need as well, make sure you do that before you switch ports.

Easy installation. Now have 2.5 Gbps upload/download from my PC to my NAS. A very nice improvement over 1 Gbps.
