Herren HH LIFA Stripe Crew Langarm Funktionsshirt

Quality hiking top at a decent price. Hoped to get it a little cheaper but I’m happy with the price I paid. I am a L size usually but took advice and got XL and it fits perfectly so size up. Material feels soft but these shirts are durable. Nice and warm on a cool morning or evening. Versatile shirt for any hiking job!

I had the first version for more than 10 years, which I'm still using to this day for work. I find the fit of this one even better at XL (same size as the old one), which at 6'4" fits me perfectly! One issue to note are the cuffs. On the old version I was rolling up the sleeves, which made said cuffs stretch and look rather unaesthetic because the rubber fibers would just snap/ stretch, preventing them from returning to their original size. On this newer version they seem more stretchy and have a different feel, so it's possible the issue has been fixed but i'd still avoid pulling the sleeves up. Buy a T-shirt version if you need a short sleeve: simple. All in all, a superb baselayer! Dries in an instant so you can wear it right away after washing it in a stream. It's not thermal wear, It keeps the wearer both warm and cool at the same time, which is really comfortable. You will feel every gust of wind while wearing it so it will evaporate the "backpack sweat" in an instant! Highly recommended! PS. I'm not sure what other people mean when saying it's too short. The back reaches to about half my behind and the front a bit past my waistline, fully covering the belt, yet leaving a bit of room to access the pockets comfortably. And I have a relatively long back! It really fits well, just like it is shown photo's! (the previous one is in fact a bit shorter, despite being the same size.)

Still the best, but why did they have to go and spoil the fit and sizing? Old large would have usually fitted perfectly. I normally take a medium (41" chest, 5'8") but this was almost perfect in the XL. Go up 2 sizes if you want a comfortable fit around the arm pits. Large would have been a snugger compression fit, especially in sleeves, but it would also have been too tight under the armpits for me as I have large shoulders. If you are a slight build, and 38-41 in the chest, a Large would likely be fine. Arms are gorilla long, so either leave a bit baggy at the end or roll back. Still a great base layer for hiking where you need the extra room under the arms to avoid chafing where the seams are. I have their wind blocker biker's top (mesh all round except front) which is great on the bike. It's a tighter fit in the Large too.

Excellent product ! I had one 20 years ago and thought I should renew it . Very thin , fits under another top easily(as do the bottoms) but provides great warmth . Easy to wash and dries so quickly . My only gripe is the sizing , I am 12 stone and 5feet 10, I bought the large (previously had medium) but had to return it to get an extra large ,which I wouldn`t normally need . However the returns process was very good, being able to re order as opposed to refund . Thoroughly recommended .

Keeps you warm dry due to wicking actions of material. Have used this brand for decades (Quite literally) Highly recommend.

I've had nearly a years use out of this top now. It fits really well, looks great and is very comfortable. Provides an extra layer of warmth without being too weighty on long and short runs. It became my go-to running top for cooler weather all winter in 2024-25.

I've had many base layers over the years. HH were the first and for a synthetic the best. I had purchased 2 Merino wool ones over the black Friday sales. Wish I had purchased more of these. Great product looks after it with good washing etc. Will last for years. Came back on after delivery to purchase 2 more. Sadly back up in price. I will wait till next year and grab a couple more hopefully. Warm, good fit, works well. If your a gym bunny (I'm not!) style it out. Great product. Great price for £14

The HH Lifa Stripe Crew works well for running and dries quickly, but it feels quite tight across the chest and shoulders. It’s not my favorite base layer, though it’s still good for shorter runs or layering. Stylish enough for casual wear, but the snug fit keeps me from using it as often.

Excelente calidad. La use en el frío para esquiar y fue una maravilla. Cómoda y ligera.

Nice lightweight shirt that does a good job of wicking moisture away from my body

A perfect garment to wear close to the body when it's cold. Also works well as a regular thin sweater when it's warm outside. Dries in no time after washing and doesn't shrink at all. Good craftsmanship and good materials give this Helly Hansen product a five in my rating.
