Vachon Passion Flakie Pastries Apple Raspberry 10.3 Ounce, 1 Box, Made in Quebec

I can't find these anymore in my local stores. This stuff delivers and gives me a taste of nostalgia. Will probably get more in the future!

These flakies taste incredible! My friend recommended me these pastries, he lives in Ontario, Canada and was brought up on these. I had never heard of these at all, but they sounded so good when he was telling me it was like a family tradition to eat these during the holidays and special occasions. I tried one in the air fryer and it came out tasting delicious, like it was just baked. The outer layer is similar to a croissant, light and fluffy. The inside filling is really tasty and not overly sweet.

Maybe because of having to clear customs, they'll be late and you should just plan on these arriving at least 10 days after whatever date Amazon is telling you they'll arrive by. But they're worth the wait. Awesome snacks.

I used to get one at the corner store on my way home from school in northern northern, almost in Canada, New Hampshire. I’m in Colorado and having a box of these after 50 years was so cool, I’m positive I am going to order more.

I grew up in Canada eating this snack as a kid and loved it. I moved to the US about 5 years ago and was just thinking about how good these were....so I decided to buy 2 boxes. It arrived quickly and was packaged fine. I cracked one bad boy open and omg, brought me right back to being a kid. Super flakie but also sweet! One thing I did notice was that it is definitely over priced. However, when it comes to buying international snacks, they will always more expensive online vs what you buy them for at the store. If you haven't tried these, you are missing out!

Was hoping to relive the glory days back in the 80's when these things were called "flaky puffs," but no such luck. These pale in comparison. Stale tasting, though they were well within the sell-by date, with little flavor. Unappealing.

While this has quite a decent pastry; the weird neon pink/red filling is waaaay too sweet, and just strange tasting. Sad, as the rest is actually good.
