These reviews appear to be on several different CPR call blockers, so I’ll state that mine is the Call Blocker Shield. I’ve had it a month now, and it appears to be doing its job well. It was very easy to set up, but when it arrived it was missing the second white lead - not essential, but CPR kindly posted me one straight away. I thought I was going to need it, because in the first couple of days I had a call from a friend’s mobile - the number was in my landline phone - but the caller display came up as ‘Unknown, out of area’. I knew it was her because she immediately rang my mobile when I didn't answer the landline. However that was a one off - I’ve had several calls from this number now, all correctly displayed, as have all others. I’ve only had one scam call since installing this blocker - when I was away for a couple of days, and a message was left. I managed to block the number, and the absence of any other calls makes me think that we’ve probably had some, but they were included in the 2,000 already blocked. I’m well pleased with this Blocker now - happy to give it five stars and recommend it.

Hoping this call blocker would block a persistant nuisance insurance company, followed installation instructions to block caller, next day still getting same call, tried again to block call, still got nuisance caller next day, sent back as faulty, disapointed after all the good reviews this item recieved.

This is the best product I have ever bought easy to use and stops all the annoying calls. if you have nuisance call buy this for some peace and quiet it works so well.

I purchased two of these blockers, and found that they worked for a while and then the calls started coming through again. The blockers are fine if your telephone connection is in the same area as the where you use the phone, however as I have several handsets, I have to run upstairs to press the button every time I receive an unwanted call, not convenient. So I am not completely satisfied with the product, and therefore cannot recommend this product.

This is great! Truly effective. I was getting SO many cold calls "if anyone in the house is on benefits"... automated calls; people; driving me nuts! Even though the number is registered with the TPS. Straight away the calls decreased and I really enjoyed pressing the big red button to block a caller. Now, a couple of months later we have no cold calls at all. Actually, I'm rather disappointed as it's so cool to say "you're blocked!" and bang! Gone. Haha

So easy to fit with simple instructions. Had it for about a fortnight now, not a single nuisance call in that time when we used to get two or three a week. Can recommend this product

Funciona bien, pero no estaría mal que incluyera algún mecanismo de fijación a la pared. He probado de todo pero nada funciona.

Produit élégant et discret, qui marche parfaitement avec un fixe, sans fil ou pas. Permet de bloquer tout ce qu'on veut, soit en ligne (appuyer sur le bouton rouge et raccrocher), soit par programme. Exemple, si on est em..dé par les appels de plateforme commençant par 01 70 (attention, c'est aussi l'indicatif de Paris), on décroche, on prend la ligne et on compose **7#0170#, on raccoche, c'est bloqué. Pour débloquer, pareil en composant**6#0170#. Tout est bien expliqué dans la notice. Par contre un défaut : il faut bien noter tout ce qu'on bloque, la liste des numeros bloqués n'est pas accessible (pas d'écran!). On peut réinitialiser l'appareil pour effacer tous les blocages, c'est tout ce qu'on peut faire (c'est bien expliqué aussi). Attention : si un numero bloqué appelle, il s'affiche quand-même dans le journal d'appels, ce qui pourrait laisser croire que l'appel a abouti (ce qui n'est pas le cas). ça peut laisser croire qu'on a mal fait l'opération de blocage!

Rufnummern werden nur unterdrückt, wenn man die entsprechenden Anrufe entgegennimmt und dann über den Callblocker beendet. Danach sind die Anrufe von dieser Nummer gesperrt. Grosser Nachteil allerdings ist, dass "normale" Anrufe sehr spät durchgestellt werden. Ich habe das Gerät mit meinem Handy getestet, obwohl ich schon dreimal ein Freizeichen hatte, blieb das Festnetz noch stumm. Ist man dann nicht schnell genug, verpasst man so manchen Anruf.

This device effectively stops all nuisance calls. We were receiving several nuisance calls a day on our landline; the device has corrected that problem. Very easy to set-up and use. Money well spent. Highly recommend.
