Chef Works Unisex Total Vent Chef Beanie

My partners a chef working in the hot kitchen and being bald his head gets super sweaty we have tried headbands and bandanas but this hat wins hands down breathable keeps the sweat away from his eyes/face doesn't look bad too decent quality and cheaper on here than nisbits only feature i wish it had was to find it when he loses them as I've bought a few because of this 🤣🤣

Perfect size

...it's ok. However, after one day at work I had a huge elasticated impression where it had bitten into my skin. There's only one size and I'd suggest that the seller specifies the actual circumference.

Couldn't find better

The first order received; fitted perfectly, the size was labelled inside the hat. The second order received, did not fit and the size was not labelled inside the hat. I am very disappointed regarding the size not being stated on the Amazon order site.

This is a brilliant buy.. my only gripe is it is a little small.. but still does the job.

The product is gr8.. nice material and comfortable fit. The price is a bit high though.

Ok so I work for an outdoors catering company during the summer season and I have been asked by many individuals to review the products I use. Now I put some serious abuse on my items as I cook and serve thousands over the summer. With that said.. I'm always on the look out for a good item to keep me comfortable during grilling and the sweat out of my eyes. This has an elastic band on the back and vented on top. Very light weight and the fit is comfortable out of the box. 5/29/16 Ok worked a 12 hour catering event and this head piece worked outstanding! It was well over a 100 standing in the middle of 3 large grills. The fit was comfortable and nether bothered me, the vent top worked great. No sweat dripping in my eyes. When it got really hot I dunked it in ice water to help keep me cool. Good product and safe purchase.

I was hoping for a comfortable and breathable chef beanie, but this one didn’t quite deliver. ⚠ What Didn’t Work for Me: ❌ Too Synthetic – The fabric feels plasticky and not very pleasant to wear for long shifts. ❌ Poor Ventilation – The air filter grid doesn’t really feel breathable, which defeats its purpose. ❌ Not as Comfortable as Expected – It sits on the head, but not in a snug or well-fitted way. ✔ Some Positives: ✔ Lightweight – It’s not heavy, so it doesn’t feel bulky. ✔ Easy to Clean – The material is simple to wipe or wash, which is useful in a kitchen setting. ✅ Final Verdict: If you need a basic chef beanie, it might work, but the synthetic feel and lack of real ventilation were dealbreakers for me. Wouldn’t repurchase. 🚫👨‍🍳

I'll keep it short and sweet. As an experienced chef, this is unquestionably the best culinary head-wear I've put to use in the kitchen. The "Total Vent" part in the name of the product is no exaggeration. My body temperature is managed incredibly better than when I'm wearing any different chef hat. It's design is wonderful in both form and function. This model is the first recommendation I give to anyone seeking a chef hat. Unless you don't like the "beanie" style of culinary head-wear, then this is chef hat for you. It's design is realistically described as a "one size fits all." My head is on the smaller side, yet it stays in place perfectly throughout my entire shift and is flexible enough to properly accommodate a much larger skull than mine (a much larger co-worker with a much larger head than mine also favors this product). I'm ordering more.
