Excellent Everyday Matcha for Lattes, Smoothies, and Baking
I've been using the Naoki Matcha Organic All Purpose Blend for several weeks, and it has exceeded my expectations for a culinary-grade matcha. If you're looking for a versatile matcha that works well in lattes, smoothies, baking recipes, and daily drinks, this is an excellent option. The powder is finely ground and mixes much more easily than some other culinary matcha brands I've tried. It has a vibrant green color that indicates freshness and quality. The flavor is pleasantly balanced—earthy and rich with a mild natural sweetness, without the excessive bitterness that some lower-quality matcha products can have.My favorite use is making iced and hot matcha lattes. It blends smoothly with milk and milk alternatives, creating a creamy and flavorful drink. I've also used it in smoothies, pancakes, and baked goods, where it adds a beautiful green color and authentic matcha taste.I appreciate that it is organic and sourced from Japan, which gives me confidence in the quality and authenticity of the product. The packaging helps keep the powder fresh, and a little goes a long way, making it a good value for the price.Pros:Authentic Japanese organic matchaSmooth texture and easy to mixGreat for lattes, smoothies, and bakingVibrant color and fresh flavorGood value for everyday useCons:Slightly more bitter than ceremonial-grade matcha when prepared with water aloneBest suited for mixed drinks and recipes rather than traditional tea ceremoniesOverall, the Naoki Matcha Organic All Purpose Blend delivers excellent quality, versatility, and flavor at a reasonable price. Whether you're new to matcha or a regular matcha drinker looking for an affordable everyday option, this product is a great choice and one I would happily purchase again.

Great Value, Great Quality!
For the price, this matcha powder is great! It is perfect for iced lattes. I am not a matcha snob, I typically order from coffee shops like Starbucks and Biggby. I have tried a few other powders that were dull and super bitter, but this one is by far the best. It tastes the same as what you get from coffee shops. It’s not clumpy, super bitter, or chalky. The flavor is nice and light, and the value is unmatched. One bag costs the same as three ventis from Starbucks, and tastes nearly identical!

Smooth, consistent matcha, we keep this on subscription
Smooth and easy to mix, a reliable everyday matcha✔️ Smooth texture with no noticeable bitterness✔️ Mixes well using a traditional bamboo whisk✔️ Works great iced or hot✔️ Consistent quality, we buy it on subscription✔️ Good value for an everyday matchaMy wife drinks matcha regularly and buys this on subscription, so we’ve been through multiple containers of it.She grew up drinking it and prefers this brand, which says a lot about the consistency and quality. She prepares it the traditional way using a bamboo whisk, and it mixes smoothly without clumping. She usually drinks it iced, and it holds up well without tasting overly bitter.

Good/High Quality Matcha
10/10 would recommend! It has a fresh taste, a vibrant green hue, and a wonderful matcha scent. I had been a bit concerned as I have heard people say they’ve gotten ‘bad batches’ but, it seems like it had been dependent on when the matcha had been harvested and how, which resulted in poorer quality matcha (bad batches doesn’t happen all that often). Thankfully my order didn’t have this issue. After nearly two months of drinking it, I have definitely noticed a remarkable calming effect. Although keep in mind, different people do react differently to matcha’s properties just as people do with coffee (some feel zero effect and some get more instant results). As long as you follow the directions on the package on how to prepare it and what temperature to use, you should be all good to go! It makes pretty good everyday drinks!

easy entry level matcha
It seemed to be high quality powder, fresh, and strong flavor, but the only downside was the bag had a huge crease in the bottom and was difficult to get all the product out when i transferred to a different container.

Great price
I used to love this matcha and drank it all the time. After trying a higher-quality blend for a few months, I decided to reorder this one - and wow, the difference was huge. I still think it's a great matcha for beginners, especially for the price, but once you get used to a better-quality blend, it's hard to go back.

Culinary grade is lovely for drinking
For those of us who can’t afford to buy ceremonial grade for daily drinking, this is by far the best culinary grade I’ve found. I have it in a latte every morning. It’s excellent. It still has a little extra bitterness compared to the ceremonial grade, but not too much, and it has those deep chocolatey flavors that you usually find only in the good stuff. Make sure not to get it too hot or it will get very bitter however (I usually do around 175-180F)

Worst matcha ever
I dont write reviews usually, but being a hard-core matcha gal for more than a decade now, I just HAD to comment on this product. I've always loved to try different brands over the years and this was hands down the absolute WORST I've ever had. I literally dumped it out. It was undrinkable. Its not AT ALL vibrant green as advertised. It was dull and brown-ish and so bitter, precisely as a culinary can be sometimes. I have tried other culinaries that actually were bright green and tasty. No amount of sweetner covered the taste of this one. Its a cheap matcha with false claims. I've heard that matcha can get that way when its getting old or expired. Definitely NOT going to trust this company and waste any more money trying the more expensive ceremonial grade.
