Really nice quality
Proper no nonsense tough rubber that feels like it's going to stand up to the sun. It cuts well as is strengthened by an intermittent internal metal profile, which also seems to have good rust resistance. I like this stuff. Be advised that if you order two it'll come in one long length (best cut with a Stanley blade). It fits the door edge perfectly and looks good.

Great quality, great price!
2nd time I bought this stuff, I was so impressed with the quality of the 1st lot that I bought enough to do nearly all the car and not just 2 doors. It actually looks as if its part of the car it fits so well.

Easy to fit , professional finish
Perfect for my needs. Easy to fit and nicely finished the cutout in my van bulkhead, the trim has gripped the thin bulkhead steel well . I used an angle grinder slitting disk to cut and it gave a nice clean square cut with no galling or distortion of the ends .

Easy fix to a nagging problem
Alleluia! I have a1998 Ford Scorpio, otherwise pristine, but missing the rubber trim piece that should be fitted over the front of the headlining, leaving that front edge sagging a bit between the upper console and the outer edge of the top of the windscreen on both sides, and the fabric detaching and looking ragged along the edge. I did find, some time ago, a never used genuine Ford spare, but the problem was the headlining edge had delaminated somewhat and softened, and would not fit into the Ford trim, which needed the edge to be tight and rigid to be forced far enough into the rubber trim to be gripped. Many attempts failed, until I finally thought to look for some other make of black rubber trim that might work instead. After some reviewing of different trims for sale here I picked this one, and it worked exactly as I hoped. While the headlining edge wouldn't push straight in this trim through the inner 'gripper' bits, the metal 'ribs' in this trim meant that I could insert a flat-head screwdriver and open this trim up so the delaminated and feathered headlining edge would go right in to the bottom of the U, and then I could simply clamp the U 'arms' back together just with finger and thumb pressure, gripping the headlining. A black rubber trim enfolding and gripping the headlining again, and stiff enough but bendable enough to get the front of the headlining up, level and neat as it should be. Just wish I'd thought of this sooner and saved a lot of frustration with all the failed attempts to fit the original Ford part. Those steel ribs in the rubber made all the difference, allowing the U legs to be pushed apart and hold that shape, then pushed back together to grip. Brilliant.

Does the job
I was looking for grommet strip for an open end on steel trunking, the normal stuff is pretty rubbish as it needs gluing on to keep it in place. This did the job perfectly. I used a 25mm snap of blade knife to cut it, most of the time I got lucky first time as there is thin ribbed metal inside so you need to cut between the ribs.

Was to small for what I needed and very difficult to attach.

has metal strengtheners inside
excellent product - used for my motorcycle parts - extra protection as it has metal inserts to give extra strength and also makes moulding to shape easy
