If only I had known about this YEARS!!! ago
I can't believe that I am almost 50 before finding this amazing little gadget. I have no underlying pain condition, but usually the 2nd day of my cycle was a whole day of severe pain that I could only alleviate with multiple hot baths, massage and if that wouldn't work eventually painkillers. I put the OVA device on as soon as my cycle started and played around with the settings for a bit. I would describe the sensation as a humming or tingling. I also managed to sleep with it on - just with a lower setting. The little (and it is little!) device comes with a holder that snaps onto your underpants easily. With vigorous activity it did come loose a couple of times. But just the fact that I was able to walk and move as much as I did was wonderful. I would say it lessened my pain from a 9/10 to a 1/10 and I did get used to the tickling sensation quite quickly. I used it pretty much continually for 2 days and the battery performed fabulously. My pain site is at the very bottom of my back and the pads stayed on perfectly during the duration.

Skeptic shockingly pleased! EDIT: Symptoms from device!
I'll start off this review by saying, I have extremely painful but light periods. I was taking Paracetamol and ibuprofen every 3 hours for 4 days straight every period. Luckily, I work from home and so every period was spent the first two days working from bed, popping pills and constantly reheating a microwave bear, with little to no relief from all of this. I decided that enough was enough and I needed to stop taking as many tablets as surely it was going to be detrimental to my health. This is when I purchased the TensCare Ova Plus. At first I was very skeptical as to whether this would work or not and to my surprise, it does! When my pain is at it's worst, I admittedly do still feel a little discomfort but such little to the point that I feel I can get on with my day, working around the house, running errands, just like any normal day, without any tablets. It is super easy to hide under clothes and easy to work around during toilet visits. If I went out to work, this little device would be essential for every day! The only annoying thing about this is, as you are wired up to your tiny little device, I still have to take a set of tablets before bed time as I do move around a lot in the night and would worry about damaging the device if I wore it overnight. Overall, If you are having periods that are as painful to the point of it disrupting your day, I'd definitely give this little fellow a go! EDIT: I would just like to add that I have removed one star from my original 5* review as after 3 months of usage I found an issue with using this device. I found that a day or two after the start of my period for three months straight I suffered from a urine infection which had to be treated with antibiotics all 3 times. On the fourth month I ate and drank the same as the previous months but did not use the Ova Plus at all. Surprise surprise, no urine infection and I haven't had one since stopping using this device. This may be something to just keep in mind if you find yourself with this issue.

Power packed little pain reliever
I bought this after getting sick and tired of constantly being put on painkillers each time i visit the doctor to ask about other pain relief methods, i have to say it certainly is different and it is helping a great deal. And this is coming from someone who is normally semi-permanently bed bound for a whole 7 day week+ each month. First time using it i was a little nervous as to what to expect of it, the tingling sensation isn't what i would call uncomfortable, but you can't help but notice it [certainly good for literally distracting you from your misery]. It really is easy to use, and the instruction booklet is simple and devoid of jargon and the device itself is a nice size, easy to slip into your pocket or clip onto lower clothing. The one and only little gripe i have to say about it is, that the device just sits/rests in the clip-holder and could easily be bumped out of said holder by accident if say the user was one to jog or run with it on. HOWEVER despite that, I really would recommend this little machine, to anyone looking for an alternative or a supplemental change to painkillers, its certainly has helped and is still helping me.

effective but faulty.
I have very painful periods were in the past i can spend the first three days curled up a ball sometimes, spend most the time in the bathroom and can throw up. This doesn't take the fall pain away but it does help with it and less medication is require but I have given this a two star due to the fact this is only my second period and the device is faulty and can't be charged therefore its not working which is not something you expect when you spend nearly £30. Amazon have been amazing as usual and are sending me a replacement out so I will change this review in due course once I've seen how the replacement one works for more than one use. EDIT: This would have been a 5 star review if the device continued to work. Amazon were great sending me the replacement in June but just 10 months later it's not working effectively anymore. The battery dies within an hour of on/off usage were as before I could use it on and off for 6 - 8 hours without that happening. Not good if you have endometriosis and need relief on and off during the night because it needs to be charged every hour which means you a.) basically don't sleep or b.) have brief relief for the shortest amount of time before being in agony again. Such a shame, maybe the company needs to look into the manufacturing of this product so it can last longer than 10 months before its basically useless. I may have to look into other products now to help. This product is very poorly made which is why it doesn't last.
