Great way to seal my jars when I don't need bands and lids.
I use canning jars for a number of different purposes, but hate to ruin my metal bands and lids by exposing them to moisture in the refrigerator so I decided to look for an alternative. These definitely fit the bill! They come in two sizes and will fit both wide mouth and standard jars. The lids come with sealing rings that you can put inside which will make them both airtight and watertight. If you don't want that you can simply not place the seals in the lids. They come in a wide variety of colors as well. The lids have ridges on them which makes them easy to remove when you need. As you can see, they look nice too. They are of durable high quality, they work perfectly, are easy to use both putting them on and taking them off and are a great value!

Great quality and fit. For mushroom growers - Easy to modify with a drill.
See my video. In depth review. I compared these with similar looking lids from Temu. The Amazon lids from manufacturer "Belgeta" were far superior. Temu lids were cheap, thin plastic with nothing to support a silicone ring, which it was supposed to have, but was not included. The Belgeta lids are thick, fit the jars well with no issues, included nice thick silicone rings making them leakptoof, air tight. . The Temu lids, first off, wouldnt go on the mason jars properly. I Had to fumble and twist to finally get it on. Temu was a little cheaper in cost, NOT MUCH, but MUCH cheaper in quality - not worth it! The lids i purchased from Temu also leaked. Belgeta even provided a little extraction tool for the easy removal of the silicone rings for cleaning! Im impressed with these lids fitting so well on mason jars. I put them on with one hand and a flick of the wrist. Dont hesitate to buy these lids. Great product, great price. I got these, 18 piece Belgeta lids, 9 wide mouth, 9 regular mouth mason jar lids for $9.95 and i planned to modify them for mushroom growing use. For grain spawn and liquid culture. For those interested in modifying them for any reason, especially for mushroom liquid culture jars or grain spawn jars, read on: They took the drill bit with no problem whatsoever. I did 18 lids in one night, two holes in each lid. Not one cracked or bent or scratched. I used an 18mm and a 12mm drill bit and lids took it with ease. I put a wooden board under it to protect my table, but didnt need to invert them to prevent cracking or splitting. I laid them down on the board, top side up, and held with one hand and drilled it. No shaking, no buckling, denting, bending. Went smoothly. All 18! Wide mouth and regular. I used a drill bit size 12 mm for the 20 mm rubber self healing injection port that i planned to use and i used an 18 mm drill bit for the gas exchange space. The bit size 12mm made the hole big enough to squeeze the 20mm rubber injection port into. Minimal effort, but with a little side ways squeeze and manipulation i wriggled it into place. Im glad it was a tight fit because this assures that the "self healing" part of the injection port will actually work. A lot of people complain about that and i wonder if the rubber port is just put in the lid too loosely to begin with by using a larger drill bit. Thus not giving it the ability to close up tightly and properly. I opted for an 18mm drill bit for the gas exchange hole because i thought that 0.7"inch, would be larger area for adequate air exchange . I choose micropore tape ( aka paper tape) to cover the 18mm hole. Triple layered on the front of the cap and single layered on the back. The micropore tape is 0.3um and with the double/triple layering i feel pretty safe that my precious G. S. And L. C. Is protected, yet have enough area for good gas exchange. I did consider the small round 0.2um filter patches, but when looking closely the size area for actual gas exchange is very small the rest is glue to make the filter stick. The actual filter area is about 1/3" wide at most, maybe less. The same with the PP Nylon syringes that i got. Again, even tinier area for FAE at about 1/5" or less, of an inch filtered area. I thought the area was so small i didnt see how an ant could breath through it. Maybe ok for liquid culture but not adequate for grain spawn. I'll research into it, but for now, its micropore tape for me for grain spawn. Its inexpensive and it should easily last several uses, but it will be easy and cheap enough to replace. These can go into a pressure canner too. I intend to sterilize at 15 psi for 90 min. Havent done that yet, but im told its done regularly with no issues. If thats wrong i'll be back with an update for sure! All in all these are a great find! Good luck. Hope this review helps answer your questions. Dont hesitate, these are great!

Good fit, fun colors
Comes just as they look. They have fit both Ball and Kerr and even a couple non brand jars perfectly. Fun to add some color to the kitchen as well and avoid the rusty metal lids that often have pieces we loose. We aren’t a canning family so I can’t speak to how well these hold up if doing major canning projects, but they are great for storing ingredients and leftovers!

Colorful and well made
Haven’t been used yet but these lids seem pretty well made and sturdy with nice silicone rings to prevent leakage. It’s great that both regular and wide mouth lids are in one pack and also come in different colors, which makes it easy to find them in the freezer.

Meets expectations
Sturdy, good quality. Comes with a little pick to help take out and but the rubber seals back in, good for cleaning. Will say they seal well but the seals slip out when stowed away.

Really great lids!
Came in a variety of colors, truly sealed my jars and will work well with things I place in my jars that otherwise might cause rust to the ring. I make my yogurt at home and my own kefir, so it helps to color coordinate all the fermented foods I am just starting to make. Comes in a box that helps keep everything together, making it easy to store when not in use.

Fit wide mouth and standard ball jars.
The lids on our ball jars were starting to rust. These lids fit the standard and wide mouth ball jars perfectly. They come with a silicone seal which I use when making pickled onions and pickles to keep liquid from spilling out if I accidentally knock the jar over in the fridge. I recently recieved a bunch of lemons from our neighbor and used them to make lemon curd. I put some in a ball jar and gave it back to her with the new lid. She loved it. Lids are dishwasher safe and can be washed easily.

It says 86mm for the large lids but be aware they don’t fit the large ball mason jars which are 86mm wide. Returning

The regular size fits, the wide mouth threads do not line up with Mason jars. Very disappointing.
